Love these cars. A set of BBK long tube headers BBK 70 mm throttle body a cold air intake and an off-road x-pipe that's all you need to have the best sounding car on the Block. 2 valve doesn't make a lot of horsepower but it makes a great sound. Keep the videos coming.
My dad was a GM guy. I felt his heart cringe when I looked at other cars. I pulled the ad out of a magazine for a Mercury Marauder and stuck it on my wall with all types of other cars. This was the 90's. He had more concerns about my Mopar interests I'm sure and I even asked for a new edge Mustang for graduation. But I still have love for the panther platform. I love big cars with power but own a Miata. I can't make myself make sense
There were less than 10 real sleeper panther cars in the early/mid 00s. Every other panther was running 14sec or more in the 1/4 mile. I had 2 myself. They are fun but slow
Much love for the Vic videos my man. We appreciate you. People look down on us. Straight had a dude with a BLOWN UP Taurus sho shit talk me, brodies rebuild is more then my car. LOL
As a mercury grand marquis owner, I can say they are no slouch. I bought mine of off an older gentleman, who’s father had passed. Thinking I had struck gold, I was wrong. I struck a treasure chest. It’s fast, but quiet. It’s big,yet nimble. Lower than most other cars and longer others. If you’re a panther owner please, have fun but take good care of it. I don’t think we’ll ever see these again.
Thank you for saying you might experiment with next year in the upcoming weeks honestly I didn't know why you bought a GT mustang instead of a cvpi but then again that's just my love each and every one of your videos bro please keep
I worked at a Ford dealership in 2011 when they went out of production do we have police departments as far away as Ohio calling us in Illinois asking if we had any more Crown Vics cuz their local dealers weren't taking any more orders.
The hellcats spoiled the car community cause now they expect every V8 to make massive amounts of power that's why I'll always show N/A V8s love especially the Lexus RCF
one build i would love to do if i had the money would be a crown victoria with a twin turbo ford barra around 550 to 600hp and the xr6 automatic gearbox
I'm 33 years old. My first time ever in any vehicle was coming home from the hospital as a baby in my father's brand new white Lincoln Town Car. The first car I owned at 16 was a 1998 Crown Victoria LX. Since that car I've owned a 2000 Lincoln Continental, a 2012 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost with the sport package, a 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee, & finally, the car I currently drive which I bought in 2017, a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. I intend on keeping this car until I die & in all likelihood I will be buying at least two more Panthers within the next 5 years. As far as I'm concerned these cars are perfect & I will always have at least one.
You're right about the transmission being the biggest drawback to the car. Even with that said though, I've never wrecked a transmission on any Panther I've owned, despite driving hundreds of thousands of miles on them.
@klizzyykicks1712 you know he can't disclose that information on this platform. But let just say they are not pulling out in front of anyone any time soon.
I gotta 01 Grand Marquis w 20s. Donk Culture n being from tha south i wanna go bigger. And I cut the pipes off to hear it better😅 Anyway thanks for all the content u release [and the site of course]Keep It Up
I always say the new Mopar guys are little brothers to the panther platform guys. But the panther platform guys are little brothers to the g body guys.
Ay brother I’m wondering if you can make a video on a sts rear turbo kit for the crown Vic, I’m looking at the sts 1000 it’s rated up to 600 hp. I got a 97 Vic and I want to know the pros and cons and at dyno numbers you can scrounge up, you seem to find more info
Im tryna stick a manual transmission in my 05 grand marquis. The original has 260+ and i keep my foot in that mfka😂💯❤️💪🏿 and im looking for a nice low mileage lincoln to cruies in
Shiat I had 4.6 merc awd mountaineer wit granatelli coil packs an alittle of my tweakn done n was busyin 5.0s n mustang gt's butt everyone wanted to know what I had under the hood n just said alittle 4.6 nothing else they didn't believe me but it was true wit 175,985 miles running strong
So my brother-in-law sold his police interceptor to my other brother-in-law right before he went to prison now this car was a piece of shit before my brother-in-law sold it… So my other brother-in-law basically just did a quick tuneup on the car put some 24 inch wheels on it and beef up the suspension. Also repainted it and I swear that car is like a brand new fucking car is ridiculous!!
That is the greatest car Ford has ever produced
The Lincoln LS had so much potential but they dropped the ball on that platform
It was an early test mule for the next generation Mustang. It's still makes for cool swap candidate.
Yeah but the porche designed motor in it was peppy but had to many issues
that car had so many issues 👎🏿
@@malcomM96 ls swap it
@@itsreallytheo true
Got mine with the stimulus check. Best purchase I've ever made. I still want to Coyote swap it though
Brother keep doing your thing, people who love cars love what you doing for the community!!

Agreed. My 02' Crown Vic sounds good. I don't even have any throttle body or long tube headers.
"deeper than Maya Angelou poetry" - the Guru's quotes never disappoint

Those were the most common cars in the 90's /00's. Always fun to drive
Even longer the panther platform run for over 30 years
Crown Vics and Marauders were the best sleepers of the early 2000s
There were less than 10 real sleeper panther cars in the early/mid 00s. Every other panther was running 14sec or more in the 1/4 mile. I had 2 myself. They are fun but slow
I have 2 Panther platform Lincoln Town cars. One is a 2000 and the other is a 2002. That's all I drive.
I don’t want too much attention.
Even my small sports car gets attention.
Do you get a lot of stares and people approaching you? 😂
Keep doing your thing bro, you touch on a lot of different shit 💯
Cleetus knows how good the panther is.
Bro you the truth when it comes to cars and reviews
Some police departments are still using 13 year old crown Vic’s
Much love for the Vic videos my man. We appreciate you. People look down on us. Straight had a dude with a BLOWN UP Taurus sho shit talk me, brodies rebuild is more then my car. LOL
Miss my 05 grand, one of the best cars I have ever owned

Just might go pic n' get a crown Vic;
Watching this making me miss my 93' Cap classic interceptor
Lets go Guru!💯👊🏽💯 The v12 twin turbo was by The Meteor Interceptor
I just got a ex police interceptor crown victoria 🎉
Half of em in Texas 😂
There was a news report yesterday about the L.A.P.D. stockpiled like 250 or 2500 Crown Vics. Should be a small flood of PPVs soon
I seen that
They have like 400 and some change left. Ford should bring back the crown Vic.
I worked at a Ford dealership in 2011 when they went out of production do we have police departments as far away as Ohio calling us in Illinois asking if we had any more Crown Vics cuz their local dealers weren't taking any more orders.
@@robertstone9988they gonna have luck with Facebook market place they every where on there
Love the platform
Realize this for the people who do think that srt and all them cars the best don't understand how deep the layers go into what make a car. A GREAT CAR
If Ford were to bring back the Crown Vic and the Town Car with the 5.0 Coyote they'd make a killing now that Stellantis killed the Charger and 300.
I remember I had a grand marquis love that car if I find one in good condition I’d buy it
Love these videos man! Keep it up bro! 🙌🏾
Yes plenty of people prefer to have a reliable, fun, good handling car that’s affordable and doesn’t need 1000hp to do so
I miss my P71. Stock that thing would get sideways out of the gas station with ease.
Oh snap that joint fast!
Love this video brother!!
The hellcats spoiled the car community cause now they expect every V8 to make massive amounts of power that's why I'll always show N/A V8s love especially the Lexus RCF
That’s why I like old school I got a 1985 dodge diplomat salon with the 318 engine and another one with the same engine they fun they to drive around
I remember that Vic with the tank motor
one build i would love to do if i had the money would be a crown victoria with a twin turbo ford barra around 550 to 600hp and the xr6 automatic gearbox
I had soo much fun in my 2011 P7B with lights still installed on it
If Ford had updates the Panthers with a 5 OH and a 6R80 6 speed and a infotainment center. They would still be around . But they pushed the Stang
Shoulda seen these in Dallas back then
💯💯💯💯
You gone love it when you come to Dallas then

Go check out boost and bad habits crown vic
I got a 2007 Lucerne cammed with a gen 5 supercharger top swap 2.5 pulley 4t80 transmission at around 375 hp very loud whine
Had an 06 town car soft top it was definitely a gem. Totaled it when this elderly couple pulled out in front of me.
Did u kill them ?
@klizzyykicks1712 you know he can't disclose that information on this platform. But let just say they are not pulling out in front of anyone any time soon.
4.6 baby
I've had 3 of them in all. 180k 08' 260k 2000 and a 360k 97' and they ran like a champ. Miss those cars😢
I'm in Memphis with a crown Vic 99,,and I wanna do this
I am working my first swap. Ls3/4L80 or a TKX 5 speed. Not sure yet. My next on will be a 5 OH and the next 1 will be a Hemi!!!
You can put a j mod on the transmission and it extends the life of the transmission and makes the shifting crazy
Really?
Yes indeed I have a 99 MGM Im starting to build and It will be a monster
Preach!!!
There's also the Chinese Panther; Hongqi Qijian CA7460.
Sadly people are checking these out and driving up the value.
I put a coyote out of a truck in my dads grand marquis last year we put a f1a procharger kit on it man it is a blast to drive and it’s Dependable.
Nice!
Please show us how to proceed together a fast n/a m113 5.0 Benz engine

Do u have any ideas for the 00-05 impalas
I saw Cleetus MacFarlane beat a Hellcat with a suped up Crown Victoria police Interceptor.
Is there an Impala Mafia vid coming soon in 2024 or before New Year's 2023?
A tree fell on my first one and I just bought another 👑Vic ! 26” and a procharger
Im ready to upgrade my marauder. Cams or supercharger? Any other recommendations?
Y'all seen the Town Car with the 5 speed manual?
Us Panther community people already know. He's in the facebook group. Or was. So was LightningVic.
I have a 03' P71 and a 08' P71. My 03' is being swapped. It takes 20k to get 500 horses reliably.
I love my n/a 3800 and just beefed up the internals
I found out with cleetus. That man has a fucking fleet.
That long ass 3rd gear! 😭

2500?? Man I remember when 500 was outrageous lol
The Lincoln has always been the 4 door mustang
Vic on sixes thinking 🤔 about a ls swap
Do a Vic build and dog some hellcats 🏎️
And I'm guessing the prices are going to go up on these😢
Don't forget the mark 8🔥🔥🔥

Hellcats can be very easy to beat. Poor aerodynamics and very heavy 4,000+ pounds.
