@@memetosebay1186 they made the game incompatible with integrated graphics card but didnt say it until you lower your settings so you waste 2 hours to download it and 5 for shaders and stuff
I had to uninstall this game and quit after an entire weekend of messing around with performance settings, even updating and rolling back video drivers, best i could get of this game was it feeling like moving through molasses the whole time
Perfomance of Once Human totally depends on the devs. Lets make a simple example: Gathering ores. While an experienced dev can make this action in 2-4 lines of code a beginner dev will make it in 10+ lines. But also there is a case when those 10 lines work perfectly, but sometimes due to other actions that occurs, some lines can corrupt each other it can lead to errors which the client doesn't show you, but will cause perfomance issues. Or for some ppl crash. I learned this from diff. devs videos. I'm not a developer tho but it makes sense. Optimizing is reducing these lines and trying to find corruptions.
@@imcxrsed666 Audios also written in lines, so basically yeah. But bug is a different thing. Bug is when the lines work, but not as expected, so it will cause problems, but not in perfomance.
Yeah it sucks, there's a way to fix it, but most people won't like, but here it is, first in mouse settings, turn sense all the way up and smooth to 0, won't change your sense in game, don't know why but it helps, and second, and the most important, seems like the higher the FPS lesser the input lag will be, so turn everything to the lowest possible settings, you can leave render to 100, cause otherwise the game looks too shitty to play, and draw distance to high, also, one other thing that I found out and so far has been helping, is to set the max frame rate to 120, doing that you can reduce or even take away the stuttering that happens quite often, having the game installed in a NVME helps too of course. But that's pretty much it, after doing this change in graphics, just try to tweak one option at time an see if you can still play without the input lag, there's a couple of options that I already tried and makes no difference at all, but I already got used to the lower graphics.
I couldn't play with the horrible input latency so i tested a bunch of stuff and i found this helped: If you have an Nvidia card, turn on DLSS with the upscaling set to none and make sure Nvidia reflex low latency is set to on+boost.
