How to replace glass on a wood burning stove

- How to replace the glass on a wood burning or multi fuel stove.
Here I show how I replaced the glass on my multi fuel stove. In this case it was on an AGA LUDLOW multi fuel stove, but the process is pretty much the same for any log burner or stove.
The glass on this stove was past its best, so I just decided to replace the glass. No cleaning method would restore this glass, so I find it quicker and easier to replace the glass.

I decided to start a small property maintenance playlist and this is a job that I thought would fit the list. Here, I replace the glass on my multi fuel AGA Ludlow Stove. This is an easy and satisfying job to do but it can be quite difficult to loosen the bolts that hold the glass retaining clips. I show that is this video and provide you with one possible solution to help remove those screws. The specialist tool that I use is the Neji Saurus PZ-59 screw removal plier from Japanese manufacturer ENGINEER - These are billiant and you can get them here via the Amazon link should you wish amzn.to/3smZqim

😂@@pb9926 There was a lot of effing and blinding just to get them loose.........Neji's got them in the end though !
my model 70 buck stove door doesn't come off. It does have cracks in the glass. You can clean the glass on your wood stove with oven cleaner, it works good.

My son broke the glass from my stove fireplace. Where I can find the proper glass ?
If you know the make and model of your stove, it will be easy to find the proper glass, either through google or Ebay etc
I would take those screws right out and hacksaw a slot in them for a flat head screwdriver.
