To explain it further. An anchor bolt is a type of hard ware meant to help with mounting by spreading itself within a structure and taking the shape of an reversed anchor. The anchor bolt hard ware is also shown on the card sleeves too.

But with Mikoto attaining her wish to change during the fight, even though she lost, that's more important to you. Glad to see Taizo having a W now! Also I have to say. I do love this Fated clash one better than the previous one. Because for me Mikoto have many relatability and Taizo is just the perfect match to deal with this particular situation and I’m sure his advice will also resonate to many people too. Aside from that I love the animation and the emotion they gave to the Vanguard.
Definitely gonna get brought up next fight, I'd imagine it's something about business and the world of vanguard but the actual motivations are kind of a mystery, he's a good guy so it's probably a good goal but we'll see 🤷
It was a good episode, I enjoyed it, as an overall game I definitely enjoyed this one more but for animation I still like the battlefield and movements of Varga fighting Rezael and it had a better fake out than Mikoto playing her theme even though her theme is lovely, I don't think it beats Make a Splash for me (Megumi's theme) or Future will come (Urara's theme) but it was still a nice song. Kind of unfortunate that Taizo is immediately pitted against Akina after he finally gets a win but I guess that's just how it is since reveal season hasn't started for Set 2 yet unfortunately. I like Mikoto starting to feel more comfortable of showing how she is when she doesn't have to act for people to accept her (aka try to be a "perfect idol"), I hope we get more off fights this season to be honest like Megumi vs Mikoto was a short game but I really liked it because it was just simple (Plus Megumi content even if we have to keep taking Ls, we keep taking Ws in the manga which I'm following, next episode is Mirei vs Megumi), maybe a second Nao or Masanori (because he's obviously not getting a single win) game to show if the Divine Skill is still there even if it lost its Fated status in general it'd just be nice to give them all at least two games
Good choice by the writers to have Taizo appear earlier in the episode, rather than just leave it entirely to the fight for his presence to be felt. Also have a new favorite theme, thank you Mikoto. Thinking on it now I do enjoy this matchup more than I did before, because both decks have the capacity to build up their energy, some degree of returning rear-guards to hand, while having the capacity for pretty big swings (Well in Welstra's case a huge difference it power). Interested see how they handle the next fight gameplay wise, just so the retire heavy nature vs revival effect doesn't feel too similar to the fight with Nao. In regards to next episode title Reckless Wings. Well Akina does have a winged vanguard so that does qualify him to have comparisons to Icarus. Except replace the sun with a lame satellite cannon (That thing is going to be sent crashing into Welsta at some point). And you guys keeps saying its to save his sister, but if anything I'd say its also to save himself. He's seen himself as never being able to do anything for Hikari his whole life (even if that might not be what his sister thinks, he makes a good stew). Recklessly throwing himself into this event, even though he was told vaguely that if he did continue, he would die. Which I'm pretty sure Hikari would not approve of. Also it hasn't been established (yet) that Hikari's condition is fatal, might even get better with time, so what's the rush? One last thing, looking at the number of episodes left, if the next one is the 3rd clash then we have to conclude the other 2 in 7 episodes...Presumably there'll be a break episode or two to keep building the plot. A build up fight for Zorga and Blangdmire (Unless they go right into one, like they did here) maybe a side episode for Nao pursuing her goal. Secret boss fight against masked man to try and stop Akina/Suo and/or steal the wish. So what else in store this season.
Theme is so good 😊 Yeah that's a good point, Akina might be a little self-destructive, though then again this goes both ways as he's willing to take those risks for a goal far more noble than anyone else's in this tournament. And that's the key, he isn't just fighting for her health, he's also fighting for their freedom. Link has a point, Welstra's card economy during It's initial iteration was strained and you often had to decide between pressure and resources. Divine Welstra is much more capable in this regard, seamlessly blending the two aspects while also getting a massive speed boost thanks to the Divine skill. Let's not get it twisted, I do believe Taizo played more wisely in this fight, but a lot hinged on the nature of his deck both then and now imo.
Gotta say... I was completely wrong in how the fight was gonna progress. Thought Taizo was way too greedy with the Divine Skill and not PG'ing the Vanguard, but it paid off this time...
Regardless if he pgd the vanguard or not, if Mikoto checked two triggers during her last turn she would've won because she would've broken through, and if he did pg that attack he would be 5k short from blocking Annes
I mean the live chat did seem to be telling you that Taizo’s divine skill was meant to be used early And if you calm down and think about it, it definitely is more of a setup thing instead of a “okay you die here” thing
Not gonna judge the Fated Clashes yet, wanna see every clash first. That said this one just edges the last one SLIGHTLY imo. Better animated, more unpredictable and has a better fake out where Mikoto's theme starts playing, low key thought she's gonna win for a second lol. But still like first clash tho. REJOICE Taizo finally got the W and of course with 🔥 animations. Sadge that Mi Tan take the L instead but her wish kinda got granted in it's own way and she get to spent time with one of her fans. So that's a big W in her pocket. Reckless Wings. Legit could apply for both Akina and Taizo. Which speaking of them, seems like there's some sort of connection between the two. I've seen some people say Taizo is mutually working with the masked man cuz he's really adamant of getting rid of Akina out of the Fated Clash. Same can be said to Suo as so far only Akina and Suo got warned about death. A big theory I saw about that is Rezael and Blangdmire (Fated One of Zero) are VERY FORBIDDEN to meet hence why the masked man is on to them.
Gotta agree, this one beats out the 1st clash but it is CLOSE. That is interesting, though perhaps weight be taking that conversation snippet too far. Imo the masked man is insisting Taizo takes him out, but rather than a partnership Taizo probably just replied like that because he would have to take Akina out regardless for his own wish so it's a moot point, the motivation was already there. So glad you pointed that out, I found it REALLY WEIRD that only those two got the "you'll die" notification. Another way it could be twisted is that this is a person from the future (like future Hikari or something) and they have knowledge of how the clash between these two will lead to catastrophe. So the kitsune person spins a lie to try and dissuade them from fighting which, between Akina's determination and Suou's apathy is hardly gonna faze them lol

Bro if Akina and Suo eventually clashed it might be the most hyped fight but at the same time terrifying considering how vehemently the masked wants to stop it. Akina vs Taizo next week is the season's halfway point, meaning there's 6-7 episodes left. Which also means Akina, Masanori and Suo will take center stage. Miracles, Taboo and Zero sounds like A LOT of chaos on paper lol.

Man it's brilliant when things go right, and heck one defensive isn't the end all be all. I mean, Mikoto did hit defensive crit but flat out stated it wouldn't help and took Maximum's damage anyway.
@@peacechan4500 Sure Welstra's attack, but she lacked the shield for the rest. The linchpin is what she mentioned before taking the VG swing, which is that Maximum is going to be operated. That means -5k and a big 23k attack. If you factor everything, she had no good guard avenue, especially with Welstra's drive pressure incoming. Now having said that, if she had hit a trigger then 1tp the VG there's a chance, it depends on if he hits anything, so I'll grant you that it's *possible* but she was likely cooked regardless.
Since it seems like the order of characters losing is following the sequence of the characters appearing near the end of the opening, that means following the pattern the next loser is gonna be Masanori after Taizo. But the question is who's gonna beat him. And it seems like so far the masked guy is only trying to get Akina and Zero edge lord out of the clash, but why only them?
Since that masked guy really try to protect Akina and warned that edge dude, i think the masked guy true identity is the classmate who always talk to akina, he probably knows something about the divine fight so he tries to get his friends out of this mess

Difference between being a sole character for a season compared to being a side character, honestly it's already a W that she still gets games compared to every cast member that exists in the past seasons.
spoilers ig More than simply Taizo needing a win, I think another reason Mikoto lost is that she got what she wished for before the fight ended, so "fate" stops guiding her near the end to give Taizo the W, because his wish is still unfulfilled.
So let me get this straight. Mikoto pulled off a 5 attack persona ride turn, bounced a PG to hand, made Taizo empty his hand, and ended up losing to capitalism because of defensive powercreep. Fuck Taizo deserving the win, they did Mi-tan dirty
Salty much? Considering he didnt even have to trigger sack her or even top deck persona ride to win. Yeah he deserved it. He knew how to pace against her offense, and on his own turns, put plenty of pressure on her resources by doing normal welstra stuff. Mikoto lucked on a pg but was still stuffed with 5k shields and grade 3s.

Regardless if he pgd the vanguard or not, if Mikoto checked two triggers during her last turn she would've won because she would've broken through, and if he did pg that attack he would be 5k short from blocking Annes
welstra's divine skill is set up, not a finisher, you use it quickly

Not gonna judge the Fated Clashes yet, wanna see every clash first. That said this one just edges the last one SLIGHTLY imo.
Better animated, more unpredictable and has a better fake out where Mikoto's theme starts playing, low key thought she's gonna win for a second lol. But still like first clash tho.
REJOICE Taizo finally got the W and of course with 🔥 animations. Sadge that Mi Tan take the L instead but her wish kinda got granted in it's own way and she get to spent time with one of her fans. So that's a big W in her pocket.
Reckless Wings. Legit could apply for both Akina and Taizo. Which speaking of them, seems like there's some sort of connection between the two. I've seen some people say Taizo is mutually working with the masked man cuz he's really adamant of getting rid of Akina out of the Fated Clash.
Same can be said to Suo as so far only Akina and Suo got warned about death. A big theory I saw about that is Rezael and Blangdmire (Fated One of Zero) are VERY FORBIDDEN to meet hence why the masked man is on to them.
Gotta agree, this one beats out the 1st clash but it is CLOSE.
That is interesting, though perhaps weight be taking that conversation snippet too far. Imo the masked man is insisting Taizo takes him out, but rather than a partnership Taizo probably just replied like that because he would have to take Akina out regardless for his own wish so it's a moot point, the motivation was already there.
So glad you pointed that out, I found it REALLY WEIRD that only those two got the "you'll die" notification. Another way it could be twisted is that this is a person from the future (like future Hikari or something) and they have knowledge of how the clash between these two will lead to catastrophe. So the kitsune person spins a lie to try and dissuade them from fighting which, between Akina's determination and Suou's apathy is hardly gonna faze them lol
@@godsman00 I also see that theory floating around of masked man is someone from the future wanting to stop the clash between Miracles and Zero. Bro if Akina and Suo eventually clashed it might be the most hyped fight but at the same time terrifying considering how vehemently the masked wants to stop it.
Akina vs Taizo next week is the season's halfway point, meaning there's 6-7 episodes left. Which also means Akina, Masanori and Suo will take center stage. Miracles, Taboo and Zero sounds like A LOT of chaos on paper lol.

Welstra is a bully deck. This deck hates and can't win against a very very unfortunate damage check. Because you know someone gonna activate laser and then checking OT oof
Man it's brilliant when things go right, and heck one defensive isn't the end all be all. I mean, Mikoto did hit defensive crit but flat out stated it wouldn't help and took Maximum's damage anyway.

@@peacechan4500 Sure Welstra's attack, but she lacked the shield for the rest. The linchpin is what she mentioned before taking the VG swing, which is that Maximum is going to be operated. That means -5k and a big 23k attack. If you factor everything, she had no good guard avenue, especially with Welstra's drive pressure incoming.
Now having said that, if she had hit a trigger then 1tp the VG there's a chance, it depends on if he hits anything, so I'll grant you that it's *possible* but she was likely cooked regardless.

Since it seems like the order of characters losing is following the sequence of the characters appearing near the end of the opening, that means following the pattern the next loser is gonna be Masanori after Taizo. But the question is who's gonna beat him.
And it seems like so far the masked guy is only trying to get Akina and Zero edge lord out of the clash, but why only them?
Since that masked guy really try to protect Akina and warned that edge dude, i think the masked guy true identity is the classmate who always talk to akina, he probably knows something about the divine fight so he tries to get his friends out of this mess

Difference between being a sole character for a season compared to being a side character, honestly it's already a W that she still gets games compared to every cast member that exists in the past seasons.

More than simply Taizo needing a win, I think another reason Mikoto lost is that she got what she wished for before the fight ended, so "fate" stops guiding her near the end to give Taizo the W, because his wish is still unfulfilled.
Indeed, I think the idea of making your wishes reality with your own hands is the theme here, though Akina and Suou are kinda weird here.
So let me get this straight. Mikoto pulled off a 5 attack persona ride turn, bounced a PG to hand, made Taizo empty his hand, and ended up losing to capitalism because of defensive powercreep. Fuck Taizo deserving the win, they did Mi-tan dirty
Salty much? Considering he didnt even have to trigger sack her or even top deck persona ride to win. Yeah he deserved it. He knew how to pace against her offense, and on his own turns, put plenty of pressure on her resources by doing normal welstra stuff. Mikoto lucked on a pg but was still stuffed with 5k shields and grade 3s.
@@MH_Zard I literally don't care about Taizo or his character and was hoping that at least 1of the 2 girls in the fated clash would survive more than 1 match. So yea, I'm a little salty.
