So I think its better to ignore those people since they complaint about akina and nao ship but ship nao and mikoto that barely have any interaction

Gotta love how Sibilt tried the "you only want her back because you're selfish" on Akina, the most selfless person on the PLANET. The guy who spent 2 whole seasons fighting for a wish and didnt even considered using that wish for himself, to the point of not even understanding when Hikari mentioned he should use the wish for something he wanted
I think the point is that Akina will awaken his own seflsih desire, which is loving Nao. That is what will allow him to truly win against Sybilt. Sybilt is right, but that is why it will lose.

@@jamesluong5299 What Sybilt doesn't get is that desire isn't necessary to be negative or as bad as they make it out to be, sure Desires are things that benefit yourself the most. Still, I think Akina's desire is truly to save Nao because, again he is selfless, and losing Nao would make him sad.
He also wishes to save Nao for her sake too.
His desire and wish all align to save Nao.

Honestly and personally I would have changed so that amartenoa comes after rezael got hit by the fourth attack, would have made the moment that much better, akina at 5 dmg got hit by a 2 crit attack, a normal miracle would not have saved him, and thus he checks ot for his 6th dmg,

Last couple of seasons we got a 2 parter finale. Now we get a 2 parter mid season fight and a 3 part finale. Probably not gonna happen but if we get a 4 parter or a better yet, a 1 hour episode in the future.......

Actually if you think about the writers made it so that us can enjoy 3 finale 2 parter fights back to back to back 😁
I honestly feel bad for Kuon because out of all the Destined Ones being introduced, he really has been done dirty and honestly deserves better than what he’s getting at Season Two.
And this may sound like a weird criticism but it feels like the Destined Ones don’t feel like an actual team and the way they manifested Levidras felt forced in which I hope they heavily improve on in Season Three because its not that I don’t mind it but the placement towards the end of a season feels random.
And as for those who reacted negatively towards Kuon’s English voice, I personally heard way worse voices than this, its not perfect by any means but at least its still tolerable in my personal opinion.
This may be a suggestion but it would be interesting to see redeemed villains end up being one of the main characters and seeing characters mentoring the main character of that season, not to mention the sixth ranger trope and light and darkness trope would be fascinating to see.
Not to mention that I would love to see more veteran seiyuus and English actors giving a shot at anime that focuses on card games and etc. 🫠💕
I don’t mind OT but I would prefer them if they were used sparingly and minimalistic at times but I believe Kuon rightfully deserves better treatment.

I agree. The main problem I have with Season 2 is that there are too many characters. We don’t get much development from some of them despite the great moments and writing. Hopefully Season 3 finds a way to bring them to better use, especially with the odd pacing of the season.

Kuon is not the protagonist Akina is.
And it doesn’t make sense Kuon winning, bringing Nao back and unveiling a new plot twist villain, when Sybilt possessing Nao is the plot twist.

I didn’t feel that from you, but you know, just giving my observation regarding the general thought that this was predictable.
But given the circumstances.
How it went is understandable
Rezael evolution looks amazing!
Honestly, kuon should have hard guarded the second varga attack, then pg the last vg attack. Then he has a slight, though, very small chance, to use infinity skill to draw a card to defend against the rg last attack. If it was a pg then he could have guarded the last attack. Then if he drew persona ride, draws huuli, calls it and get anatogaster, into infinity to put in soul and stack 3 markers on opponents field(aka, 2 in backrow center to prevent more power from boosting), then he still has a shot.
He couldnt. It was a 51k attack. The card discarded for pg was a g3
@@jovansoh if refer to Nao vs Akina fight, the second attack is 61k attack, so the booster somehow get 5k? it might be 56k attack.
As the previous commenter said, he had 48k shield at hand, rasetsu had a booster making it 43+8=51, it was too big so he had to pg

Before writing this comment, I looked back at episode 10 to clarify that this final clash happened on the next day after the Fated Ones won and Nao gets posse- oh sorry, diffride by Sybilt. So during the next day, did Future Hikari just stayed over at Akina's place? If so I can assume that day was probably awkward of her, Akina and her present self.

Well it was obvious that Kuon would lose this, though I did like little details like Kuon believing in the infinite possibilities, Senka calling out for Nao, and Suo being the one who stops Kuon from falling.
As for this cardfight, I like how throughout the entire fight so far Sybilt tries to make Akina lose his composure (most likely to have him give in to his desires), but Akina holds on even though in we can really see in his face that he probably wish Sybilt is a plush right now so that he can punch it the same way he did to Gabwelius from S1 EP1.
I was surprised how both players use their Divine Skill very early, which is odd since usually both of their Divine Skills are usually used in later turns, but then again Akina did needed to draw as much as possible to survive, you know what shook me though is the fact that both players use their Overtriggers, I dont know if there were other instances of this happening or it's the first time but I was basically screaming during that part and was a lost for words.
So far from the looks of it Varga Dragres, Rakshasa has the following abilities, basing this on the Destined King
- it has a CONT skill to make him regard as the original Varga Dragres also it's state becomes "Malwyrm" which is similar to Unisondress in a way since both states activate upon riding into their respective forms
- It retires all front row to get 10k power and after it battled it also retires all back row rear guards, it stands and gets drive minus 2
- it also gets the Divine Skill of the original
Next episode is probably the last one, and I wondered about how is Akina finishing this, either Gabwelius or New Rezael have an ability to use Divine Skill twice or a last minute assistance from Liael=Amorta (the scene between future Hikari and Akina is why I think this might be possible). Really excited to see how this series ends.
I am going to save it and watch it in one go bext week.
To think that the king of Keter Sanctuary would wind up being a former Angel Feather, rather than a former Royal Paladin like how Alfred was the king of United Sanctuary. Is Rezael a Burton or did that royal family die out?
I think when they did the 3k lore thing the timeline said the Burton family ceased at some point in time
Considering that this is an ancient place I'm pretty sure Sybilt will manipulate things if it doesn't go his way.
So here's my prediction for Varga Rakshasa,
First skill will gives power for Vargas in soul and the Divine Skill
And his own restand skill will nuke both fields
So that Levidras can't draw

Welp, there goes Kuon sadly but seriously though, going into this episode, my thought was “How messed up Rakshasa‘s Divine Skill can it be” and after seeing it in action, I can see how and why Kuon lost. It’s frustrating if you’re on the receiving end but at the same time, it’s fairly solid.
And I know there are some people who aren’t the biggest fans of Overtriggers but I found it funny how Akina and Sybilt got their OT at the same approximately because it heavily reminds me of Akina’s cardfight with (F) Hikari.
I know there are some people who are going to dislike Rakshasa‘s skill which I respect their opinions but personally, I like it and the fight is already off to a fiery start and say whatever you want but wow, Syblit’s theme goes hard and depends on how it concludes, its going to be bittersweet yet fascinating!!! 😮🔥💕

Personally I don’t mind ot but I love how they implement overtiggwr for divinez. Cause there use of overtrigger has been really smart because they’ve done where it has impact on the game but won’t seal you the wins

@@jamesluong5299 Yeah both in season 1 and 2 the OT is used to flair things up. Defensive ot against future Hikari is a glorified heal since Sajess gains OT number. SC OT against Suo was to show that he couldn't rely on it against Blangdmire. Now its really just haha funny number since he still took the damage.

I like all the lore callbacks to the OG vanguard, references & symbolism here. Think about it, both Ren and Kuon are the rival of the protagonist, due to circumstances they got "brainwashed"/"possessed" by the true ringleader voluntarily or involuntarily(In Ren's case he was more possessed by a mysterious power), eventually they broke free of the mind control/power and now are trying to beat the final boss who plays an empire clan, the very same final boss specializes in restanding his vanguard and is also being possessed.
And to put the cherry on top of this poetically beautiful writing, Akina & Aichi are the only one who can stop them; in order to stop their rival, teacher, friend, most treasured person they acquired new power. After all both - Aki & Nao were their first opponents who taught them the rules of Vanguard and the reason to never give up.
Say what you want about Divine it rejuvenates the OG vanguard vibes.
For me I think divinez has taken the best elements of all it series that come before it!

Anyone got any theories on why Kuon's last damage was a critical trigger instead of Levidras? My theory: Levidras on planet Cray might be dead
I don't think it means much lore-wise. It's just rubbing salt to the wound because if Kuon survived Rakshasa's 3rd attack, Sybilt will attack with Obduracy Glaive next. By activating Infinity Eyes, Kuon will draw the critical trigger, which Kuon can use to guard Obduracy's attack. Kuon could have survived the turn---if not for Sybilt checking that critical trigger.

Good episode, great fight, love the tension between Akina and Sybilt and I LOVE the full circle moments in this.
BUT. Unless you're actively following the Tuesday streams unfortunately just like Stra Vairina and Liael Amorta we're not gonna get their skills reveal from the anime first and get spoiled.
There's a lot of flaws from DivineZ and this my biggest one personally but it is what it is.
It was confirmed on last Tuesday stream that everything will be revealed on next stream. Rasetsu, Gabwellius, Vita.
Since the next ep will likely be the end of Divinez season 2, I'm curious to what they'll do next for the show and series. Will they make another season of Divinez or will they go to another show?

rakashasa it bit interesting to me it doesn’t out right help the deck but also doesn’t hurt it either! Cause it makes it consecutive attack strong because now your opponent has to worried what cards to use and not use to guard! Because you nuke the board but at the same time you lose everything!
I guess it’ll depend on skill cost and time. Since I think people are still figuring out what to do with empireo . So varga would probably be the same + any more support card like storm slasher

OG Varga would draw much more though. Rasetsu NEEDS to retire backrows. But until official reveal, I can't say if he is better or worse then OG Varga. Unless his divine skill is not bound by 4 dmgs then he is better.

That fight sure was rushed just to repeat last week's ending before the big reveal. If it follows every other protag ace it's gonna break the norm like renew the DivineSkill or something
If there's one thing I'm interested in seeing, it's if Akina will play Gabwelius 🤔 unless it's got a ride skill, it'll be a rearguard unit

Call me crazy but for a Fated King, I absolutely love Rezael Vita and its design. It’s a bit of a cliche answer but I personally find Vita’s skills more fascinating than the original Rezael, there are things that can be heavily improved with this but that aside, it’s not bad!!! 🥹🙂❄️🔥

If kuon didn't use his pg at the 2nd attack, was he able to nullify rakhshasha twin 3rd attack?
Well for one, the second attack should be 51k. Persona, Varga 1st skill, and crit puts it at 43k then + 8k boost
And it depends on what the card he discarded for PG was.
If it was at least 5k shield then yes, he could have saved the PG for the last one.
But as Sybilt puts it, that would've eaten his hand and his board next turn would be Levidras and 1 more unit(assuming he isnt using Levi's skill)
But really, the real reason he didnt is because the animation team didnt want to make another turn to show Kuon get completly decimated anyway 😂
