- showing how to make a device that measure your heart rate & body temperature
script :
I'm gonna show you how to build a device to measure heart rate and body temperature efficiently and effectively as possible and we start right now
Intro:
Hello guys,
I'm kareem adel a member of 24 hours for your heart team , we are juniors and seniors in faculty of computer and information science - bio medical section Mansoura university
body:
According to american heart stroke Association
48%of people has heart diseases
30%of deaths is because of it
17.3 million people die every year because of heart diseases
7% of people has immune diseases
300000 person die because of it
We have a problem in monitoring our friends or family members suffering from heart disease and immune disease so we thought about our project that sends the average heart rate and temperature per minute to the patient's family or friends by many ways we will talk about them in details in the next videos
We will talk about our project but first let me tell you what components we will need
We will need
1. Arduino Uno
2. Heart rate sensor
3. Body temperature sensor ( we will use lm35 for our project)
4. Bluetooth module
5. Male to female jumpers
6. And finally heat shrinks
Then let me tell you how to build that device
First how to connect heart rate sensor?
Our heart rate sensor has 3 jumpers the right one is for the ground ( the negative signal of electricity) the one in the middle is for vcc ( the positive signal of electricity) and the left one for the analog output signals of the sensor.
We gonna put the ground jumper in the GND pin in our Arduino, the vcc in 5V pin in our Arduino ,and the signal jumper in A0 pin then we have finished the first sensor
Second how to connect body temperature sensor (lm35) ?
As the previous one it has 3 connections the right one is GND,the middle one is the analog output signal of the sensor, and the left one is the vcc connection
We gonna use male to female jumpers the male side is for the Arduino and the female side is for the sensor,we gonna use 3 jumpers connect the right one to the GND pin and the middle one to the A1 pin and the left one to the 5V pin
Then we have finished the body temperature sensor
Let's talk about Bluetooth module connections
Right here we have 4 connections from the lowest to the highest we have vcc connection then we have GND connection then Tx connection (for transmiting data ) Rx connection (for receiving data)
We gonna need as previous sensor male to female jumpers but in this case we will use 4 jumpers
We gonna put the vcc connection in 3.3V pin, GND connection in the GND pin, Tx connection in Rx pin and Rx connection in Tx pin so that the Arduino would be able to transmit and recieve data
So we have finished building our hardware
In the soft ware part we will need Arduino emulator and the code will be attached to the vedio in seperate file
In the next part we will talk about our website, mobile applications ( Android, IOS) so we can see what functionalities we added
Thank you for watching we will wait you in the next videos
