    • @Racing_Fox
      @Racing_Fox 5 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Johan Branting if the pumps measured in gallons it wouldn’t make a difference what the tank was measured in because you’d be filling a drained tank so whatever the number was on the pump would be the number to put in

    • @ryanwaugh1
      @ryanwaugh1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +86

      JAMP0T1 yes but the world clearly doesn’t work like that. Metric is clearly a superior and why countries have not adopted it with the rest of the world I don’t know.

    • @Racing_Fox
      @Racing_Fox 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Ryan Waugh metric isn’t always superior ... metric can result in .999999999 equalling 0 ... that never happens in base 12
      Regardless of that though it makes no difference which is superior I stated that this calculation would be simpler if the tanks and pumps also measured in gallons the calculation would be easier

      Knowing basic maths hardly makes him "damn smart". Don't get me wrong, I really like the guy and, of the three, he's the one I would most like to have a pint with, but he's not exactly Einstein.

    I kept cringing knowing its 4.54 L to a metric gallon (not 4.45). Its 3.78 L to a US gallon. I memorized that. And I usually do US gallons for my measures, since I am in North America.
