Thanks for the footage of the interior with the top up. No other videos do that, and it shows the limited over the shoulder visibility due to the toll bar compared to a normal coupe.
@@MarekDrives I owned Boxster S kept them for 2 years., I have owned a guards red 911 Targa 4S 3.8L non-turbo for 3 years & will never sell it! I go to the garage & it looks so good!
I do remember the TV series, but I don't remember the cars. Now that I look at the IMCDB I see there were some cool motors there. www.imcdb.org/m81858.html
Nice Review !!! Three blank buttons around the gear-stick in a car costing £125k, now that really pees me off !!! And why is Porsche having so much clutter with the rear and side badging ?? !! Buy a 964 Targa and get a Macan Diesel and have cash left over !!!
Great review Marek, I like your light-hearted style. I'm considering a new 911 and found your views helpful... I wonder i f"an ordinary purchaser" could get himself on a track day? Best wishes, Phil (UK)
Nice car but I would rather have the CRX Delsol Transtop. Less motors, time tested durability, less moving parts and beat porsche in having an electric top for a Targa configurations. The Delsol is also very unique being the only one with Vertically lifting boot. Not to mention has bigger boot capacity. Can fit a full size spare and tools If anything the only thing that goes wrong are plastic cogs, yes plastic cogs that tend to last 15 years before replacement. Porsche Targa is great car but can only imagine the costs if something goes wrong since I doubt it would be plastic cogs only which was only 80 bucks at the dealership.
Very simple: it doesn't deliver on it's main selling point, which is the Targa top driving experience. It looks great, with open roof there is just too much turbulence.
Why would I want to pay all that money for a car you can’t drive everyday, that’s a waste of money. My best friend bought a Ferrari back in 2008 and he could not drive it very day $185,000 sitting in the garage, paying notes, insurance, and ridiculously maintenance fees. I drove it one day for about 3 hours, and I never wanted to drive it again it was uncomfortable 🥵. I bought a 2007 SL550 did the same thing at first for about a year only drove it on my off days. After looking at how much I was spending on this car I started driving it almost daily. I then bought a SL63 because I wanted more performance which I got at a price. The torque from these monster kills, tires, motor mounts, transmission mounts, alternators, and pulley mounts, but you can drive it daily it’s comfortable. My neighbor got me interested In Porsche and the only things I don’t like about them or 1. I hate not seeing my motor, 2. They are overpriced. 3. Some of them are uncomfortable to drive daily. I do like the quality of the workmanship and they hold value pretty good. So far the 911 turbo S 2017 to 2020 suits my needs, I’m looking at the Targa because I like the look and the resale value is good, but man I’ve never owned a car that I can’t even see my own motor that’s crazy. ✌🏾
A 911 with an automatic is a waste of time. You might as well be driving a Chrysler mini-van. Boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing. Next time test a proper Porsche please.
It is ALWAYS a special ocasion to drive a 911 my friend. Always.
"keep those hands on the desk where i can see them" XD

fine, ironic and realistic review of the tec-wonder 991 targa !
Damn, your review really funky and make people want one...
Great review Marek!
Do y’all remember Falcon Crest? From the 80s. I fell in love with the Targa; the daughter had one.
I do remember the TV series, but I don't remember the cars.

In the 911 range the most powerful N/A engine is quite obviously the GT3 RS ;)
Sounds like they opening scenes from Steve McQueen's Le Mans.
It resembles the Porsche GT with the rear glass detached.
Thank you
Beautiful.)
2 people without legs and head may fit back hahahahhaah u fucking killed ir with serious voice
thanks for the video pretty funny too
How could you not like this car?

I would rather have this in manual..
Kenney McCall I'd rather have a Singer ;)
Fajny tekst z Hankiem Moody'm.
most sexy car ever
VeniVidiVici jag f type and Alfa 4c are much better looking than this by far
how much
Last true Porsche with no low end torque. I love my 996 targa 4s but I have to drive it like I stole it.
It should be a two seater
it does look good
Too bad the roof is still canvas.
+Haha MadeULook That's the whole point. You had the 997 with a big sunroof ;)
Carrera S engine is *not* the most powerful naturally aspirated Porsche engine.
SenszR You're right. My mistake.
07:56 where the heck are these hazards ... lol :D
100+ grand nobody's doing anything by hand. If I owned that car my right hand wouldn't stop.
My VW EOS has a better engineered roof AND i have a full length panoramic sunroof.
It's got a complicated roof, that's for sure.
no ale po angielsku dobrze mówisz
Only one problem with this car. Its a PDK! A manual trans is better.
"...a cheap 911" ahahahah
Appropriate porn movie soundtrack at the beginning 😁
