    That interior is spectacularly georgous! I absolutly love it. I gasped when I saw it. I'm so glad to see that this 911 has the proper manual gearbox. Thanks.

    Nice review. I've watch all your reviews of the 911. I am the owner of a 991 S cab, and I can tell you that the buffeting is very minimal in the cab with the windscreen up. I've had many occupants with me on test drives that were surprised at the very minimal amount of wind intrusion into the car even at speeds of 60 to 80 mph. I have seen other reviews of the Targa that say that the buffeting inside is worse then the cab version. I have never driven a Targa so I can speak from personal experience. I have however driven a coupe and used the sunroof. At least when I was driving to coupe the buffeting rendered the sun roof useless in my opinion. I was somewhat surprised about you saying that there was minimal buffeting present. Either way it's a great looking car and loads of fun to drive, thanks for the review.

    the only reason to have leather in places you will never touch is to artificially inflate the price

    I'll take it as it is Zack even with the red interior. Boy us Canadians really get hosed on pricing. I guess that's why we don't see a lot of these on the road. Great review, thanks.

    I love the rear wrap around glass. It's both stylish and it seems to afford the driver good rearward visibility which I believe lends to good driving. I wish more modern sports cars (or modern cars in general) were like that.

    Excellent review! I'm going to make sure I don't miss out on any of your reviews. (To be honest, there are so many reviewers out there, who really frustrate me.)

    That is beautiful on the interior. I've always been a big fan of Porsche even though I'll never be able to afford one lol.

    Looks like the perfect car Zack/Zack. Too bad I can't afford one. Looks like I'll be driving my Boxster S for a few more years until I can afford one of thees used. Oh to win the lottery. Now that would be nice.

    In Australian Dollars that equals $156,000 ... but it costs $316,000!!! How??? We have a luxury car tax but how can the price be double???

    • @Baerchenization
      @Baerchenization 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because Oz requires their own regime of certification for safety bla-bla.... which really isn't necessary - as if a car that is certified to be good and safe enough for Europe is not good enough for you guys... so that alone drives prices up a lot.

    • @paneraiferrari829
      @paneraiferrari829 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @Baerchenization
      @Baerchenization 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Panerai Ferrari Well, I never really looked in to it, but of course the idea that there is some market protection going on in favour of the Oz car industry is not far fetched. Now here is the thing: Some time last year I had read that the last remaining car manufacturer will seize to produce in Oz (is it Ford or Toyota? Can't remember) - so if that is really so and you are not left with any local production, the aspect of advantaging the Oz producers falls away - and all that remains is that you guys get ripped a second asshole with import cars. That cannot be good economically, so I would expect that in light of that change your car prices will drop soon... but don't hold your breath. :) Anyway, what happened to Holden, are they no more?!

    I LOVE the Targa, its so fing beautiful but why is it only AWD (the 4 in Targa 4)?? That makes it go 0-60 in 5 seconds! a BASE Carrera 911 goes 0-60 in 4.6! This is $20K more than the base. I don't get it!

      Volkswagen Group owns: Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda, Ducati, MAN, Scania, VW Commercial vehicles and VW passenger vehicles. VW is in 150 countries and operates 100 production facilities in 27 countries. I would consider Porsche the superior marque in terms of engineering and quality amongst all of the brands under the VW comsortium. So if there is an attempt to belittle the 911 Porsche as just a fancy Beetle...remember, all great things come from humble beginnings. The humble Beetle sparked the worlds largest automaker by sales...overtaking Toyota. It all started under Ferdinand Porsche with a mandate from Hitler to create an affordable car for the masses, back in the 1930’s. It appears German management skills, engineering and production acumen would likely be behind this.
