I have such reverence for Secretary Clinton. She’s brilliant, decent, funny and unflappable. I was a civil servant at Department of State when she was Secretary of State. I was and still am proud of supporting the mission while she was there. I got to shake her hand on her last day. Meant nothing to her but I won’t forget it. I was sick she wasn’t elected President.

My youngest daughter was a Girl Scout Gold recipient (this is the Girl Scout equivalent of the BS Eagle) She filed her final paperwork in May of 2016 & was approved by October. I was so sure Hillary was going to win I couldn't wait for her to receive her Presidential Congratulations from the 1st female POTUS. Then the unthinkable happened & 45 won. My DD & I were both devastated. Although, because of the timing, the congratulations was supposed to come from the next POTUS. Without telling my DD, starting in November after the election, I wrote multiple letters & emails to President Obama begging for him to issue her Proclamation because my community-minded, intelligent, articulate, politically engaged-activist 17 year old daughter would have been the 1 to start the bonfire if that misogynistic monster 45 sent her a congratulations card. We were both laughing and crying when in January of 2017 we received the congratulations from both President & Mrs. Obama which is now framed & proudly displayed in our Family Room (including the White House envelope) ❤❤

As a former Republican who voted for John Kasich in the primary and Hillary in the general in 2016, hearing her speak gets me super in my feelings. Her poise, expertise in foreign policy, and absolute professionalism continue to prove she was the correct choice in 2016. I long for the days of boring administrations, when the biggest scandal is a tan suit and not the former president stealing defense docs, lying about it, then having the utter gall to run for president again. I worked at a bookstore when Kasich was in for a signing, and he was absolutely vile. This was back when he was guest-hosting Bill O’Reilly’s show and before he started triangulating more to the center. That's all an act, trust me. While I wasn't in-line with his views on abortion, I appreciated his willingness to at least have conversations with "the other side." I couldn't be happier to not be in Ohio anymore, DeWine is a disaster, and the statehouse is full of Christian nationalists hellbent on destroying any semblance of democracy the state had left.
She could have been our president. Just think of how different and how much better our country would have been if she had been. All the misery and trauma and death and putting America in danger by foreign and domestic terrorists could have been avoided. Its truly heart breaking.

Hillary was the most qualified person to seek the presidency in 40yrs. She lost by having bad campaign strategy, like she caught the flu while campaigning, looked weak trying to board her plane, she had to be assisted, she did campaign in the rust, bible belt and middle western states, the breadbasket states, she had the metropolitan areas sowed up, her husband Bill told her she was not spending enough time in middle America. I think she didn't go hard at Trump while campaigning and debating, imho, how she lost to Trump is still unbelievable.

He took these specific documents for a REASON. He took them for power, money and an unrelenting ego.
He had to have help getting them. They wouldn't have been kept in the Resolute desk. They would have had to be returned to a secured facility after being used for whatever purpose they were removed for the particular day.
