I was just shooting my 1322 yesterday and I realized hey this thing is fun so now Ima buy a kit from buckrail to make it into a rifle.
I know the guy at airgun revisions. It's not a scam. I buy from there. He works for crosman
The 3622 stock looks crazy! Buckrail is such a cool company.
The only problem with Airgun Revisions is his stuff makes you spend more than you want!
I was shooting my JTS Airacuda Max the other day. I got a 5-shot half-inch group at **50 yards**. At **100 yards**, I got **1 to 2 inch** 5-shot groups, and I was hitting a 2-inch target at **130 yards**. The JTS Airacuda max is crazy!
AR Revisions is legit, good service !
I was looking at that weaver rail, the Ebay seller is actually TKO's Ebay store, good stuff, he also has a sweet trigger for these!
I ended up getting the FX DRS 500mm .22 :)
just got the breech in the mail today. I will probaly get it installed tonight.
Always good to hold a manufacturer up to the fire of scrutiny, for their own good. I’m with you Crosman makes way too many gimmicky guns when they should be nurturing their classics. If the marauder had good open sights I’d probably buy one. The 362 is proof that there’s hope for them, that is a great platform, but they should make a 367 too.
I think that the 3622 was Crosman listening to their customers. It fits perfectly in the realm of their other "lego" guns as some like to call them. It will be interesting to see what happens with the prospect though.
Thanks for this additional rabbit hole site for me to check out as well.
Thanks for the comment! And I agree that this is for the tinkerer.
Nice job Travis. Hard air Magazines original price articles was the Crosman 2024 shot show article from January 24, 2024 and First look 3622 article on Feb. 14. The later article Feb 20 and 3622 Review on Feb. 23 showed the price increases and new prices!
Thanks for clearing it up. I’ll have to apologize.
I got the ICON PCP for $125 from Crosman.
They recalled the ICON not the prospect. I have a ICON and I'm not giving it back. Lol ..
The cooler temps "leakage" might just be a temperature change in the cylinder!
The Beeman went up and down ~200psi all winter depending of the basement temp but it is definitely not leaking
I think the Icon is the one getting recalled but if it is based on the same Qb Chief / Barra 1100z design (which does look like the same breech)
I wonder if this could be an issue with other rifles
(Apparently they can fire if you bump the stock on the ground or something)
I would be sad to see Crosman go away because they are one of the best for customers services and parts availability
It was about 400 psi in a day and a half.
@@ohshoot444Did it stop afterwards?
Od be curious to see if it climbed back up by itself if not that's definitely a leak
@LowkeyAirgunner well that the thing. They didn’t mount a gauge on this one. I’ve not really checked though. I just kinda set it to the side for a little while.
@@ohshoot444 Duh.. forgot about this 😅 hopefully it is alright! 🤞
Agreed! Their customer service was great with my 397S.
The Kratos is a Turkish airguns basically a kral. Crossman web sight expansive. I can build one from new parts cheaper than what the sell it for. I can beat there price for a marauder by 150$ use there own parts just not bought directly from them.💯👍✌️🤔
Crosman needs to dump the stupid plastic breech and install the metal one from the factory. They aren't the same company they were for sure. That's my 2 cents.
More like offer the option. I would love to have a deluxe factory version, but not enough folks will buy one.😢
I think baseline should be steel breech for 150 and I'd gladly buy a wood version for 200 even if its cheap wood. But not $400 like the 362.
Nice job buddy
Thanks 👍
People getting Butt hurt😅😅😂😂😂
I think Crosman has some sort of cult I didn’t get invited to lol.
Lets all bash Crosman So I ask you - who makes better stuff for the same or less price ? who has parts availablitly where you can call them and the phone answers with a real person from the USA ? is the other brands stuff made in the USA ? everyone wants a 200-300-400 dollar rifle for 150 bucks. do you get 200 bucks of groeries for 150 bucks at the grocery store ? you now pay 130 bucks for the the same 100 dollar grocery bill you used to have. if anything, Crosman makes TOO MANY varieties of air rifles. thats a lot of parts to stock. I have the wood stocked crosman break barrels, im a wood stock guy but i gotta say the plastic stock F4 has a better feel to it. if you dont like the plastic breech, buy the better rifles with real wood and all metal, they are for sale right on the crosman website !! getting a break barrel like the F4 that shoots great for 100 bucks is a steal - and you can get parts for it !! what is the problem people ?
Thanks for the comment! I’ll do my best to answer them in order.
1. Beeman 2. You’re right on that one. Gamo isn’t too bad though. 3. Assembled* in the US, but Crosman might be the only one. 4. Not too sure on the grocery analogy. But I’ve got kids and it’s expensive. That’s why something like an airgun being advertised at 130 then sold at 150 gets on my nerves. 5. I think they make too many models too. We agree there. 6. The steel breeched model is not the standard model. That’s my whole point. It should be for the extra cost.
Crossman isn't that great even with their top models. It's airgun ing for the beginner and slightly above. The only crossman that I still own after a fire sale is my older crossman 1377 pinball pull cocker from 1985. That's a great little 20 yard dead eye dick shooter. All other makes from them I can do without. I kept my sea lion model 61 B-1 and b-3 under lever over the several crossman rifles.
I like how everyone jumped on the Crosman 3622 bandwagon about how good it is and it’s made in USA
No it’s not
On either point
It’s not that good, it’s overpriced, you have to add mods to it to make it decent when you can just by a Beeman or a Diana and really have a good gun for the same price without needing to mod them
It’s way overpriced for what you get
Oh and a shocker the Crosman is not made in America only assembled here
My understanding is many of the parts are made here in the USA. But, because not every single part is sourced and manufactured in the USA they cannot it is made in the USA. That’s the rule across the board for any USA manufacture.
I`m not allowed to discuss this subject. My comments vanish. Can`t type various things...like the name of the patient pretending to lead America and even state names.
I found you by looking up Crosman F4 stuff - thinking about getting something like that for 9 year old grandson. I live in it sucks to like guns - Illinois. and realized Crosman detunes Walmart guns sent here to 695fps to meet the under .18 cal - not over 700 fps law to sell over the counter. Although I read one guy that said he liked that as felt for .177 it was a better more accurate speed. Was interested in your thinking Crosman might be in trouble. Been looking at the 1377 and 1322 as possible fun future mod projects - might have to get on-to Amazon before their prices get stupid or the gun goes away. Also like that you linked Nibs - really like him, his info and style of, just goofin around it the garage, videos.
Myself, I'm just a 74 year old retired guy just getting into air guns, first bought a Air Venturi V10 pistol, which I like. I was very interested in their AvengeX system for a rifle because you can easily change caliber barrels instead of buying a new gun and it seemed to shoot well...but I also had been admiring and YouTubing a bunch on the Skout Epoch, same changeability, great accuracy but oh my, way more expense. Then a few days ago I came across a used Epoch in 30 cal. with a couple of add ons and the 3 barrels, which it doesn't ship with anymore. It was at what I thought was a good price, much less than a new one. So yesterday called the air gun shop that listed it and found it was one of the employee's guns and he wants the new Skout coming out to hunt with and needed the cash for that, hence good price for quick sale....I bought it. Oh well, as my dad used to say - it's only money. lol
This got way too long but I liked your F4 video and this one also so I subscribed and look forward to perusing your channel.
Thanks for the great comment! I’ll have to look at those Skouts. I’m not too familiar with those. I’d say between the 1322 and 1377 the .22 is more fun.
