STUNT BAGGER BUILD EPISODE 10
today we upgrade a 2001 bagger swing arm to a 2002 swing arm the older models 2001 and earlier including FXR’s had a really weak swing arm design that tended to break due to this being a critical part of the bike i wanted to take care of that before something like that could happen fortunately my swing arm was in good shape but i didn’t want to take any chances the 2002 and later swing arms were better quality and can be a good upgrade if youre willing to get your hands dirty there is a company that sells kits to retrofit the swing arm without doing what i did but this way made sense for me due to wanting to prioritize my money for more important parts of the build.

@@ClutchUpGarage yea it was definitely more than i wanted to do but we got it done hahah but yea the older model ones are sketchy especially if you’re doing stunts

@@daveatkinson4201 definitely a heavy bike i stripped most of the stuff i didn’t want out of it to make it more performance based and also new parts that are billet aluminum save alot of weight too
