I work in education and I have been inspired by two amazing educators, Sir Ken Robinson and Randy Paustch. I seek better ways of teaching my own students.

But over 10 years after his marvelous speeches we are still drowning in the old system with only cosmetic changes ...

Superb presentation! His talks should be mandatory material for any student on this planet--no matter what subject!

i am so glad someone is trying to change the education system i am a victim of a nasty system i had a cuple of brothers who got in to trouble and my grade 7 teacher called me up in frot of the whole class and said i was going to be in jail just like them well i never made it there i learned more out of school then in there i believe in god i am honest and caring human i just wanted to be a hairdresser so i could teach it in a prison never got to do this as i walked out of school in grade 7 never went back and i tried to raised my children they are honest and loving people fought for them with schools so they could get there grade 12 and they did so hope i meet that teacher again i am not that person she thought i would become so so much for the education system it does suck thank you for listening and keep up your videos i really enjoy by the way my daughter is a teacher

Education is the acquisition of knowledge and skills that may be facilitated but not necessarily so.
