- In this video I review the 2024 Honda Civic Sedan Touring model, same as the 2023, Honda should've added some new features to the 2024 but did not... Enjoy and any comments are appreciated!

For the 1st time ever the engineering and development was done under one roof… it was due to COVID-19. The engineering team from Japan couldn’t travel to Canada to meet with the developers so the Civic was designed and developed and built in Alliston, Ontario, Canada.

@@alexhu7091 You can see this quote in May of 2021… “Faced with travel restrictions due to the global COVID-19 pandemic that prevented Honda R&D engineers from Japan and the production engineering team in the U.S. from coming to Canada, HCM engineers took on a larger role in preparing the 2022 Civic Sedan for mass production.”
I bought a brand new 2023 Civic Touring in January 2023. I’d been driving my ‘02 Civic LX for 18 years and desperately needed a new(er) car. Compared to my old Civic, the new Civic Touring is a luxury sedan!
Honda went back to their design roots with the 11th generation. The design is classic Honda, modernized. I love the understated yet polished exterior paired with the semi-luxury interior.
Mine is meteorite metallic gray with a two-tone black/gray interior (gray seats). Very classy! I’m in South Florida. It’s waaay too hot here for black seats! It’s a beautiful car and I’m super happy with it.
Thank you for your insightful comment! Yes, the Touring model is a luxury sedan. You did it right! This one will also last you 18 years and beyond, even though you're all the way in Florida I'm glad you stuck with Honda.

We bought a 24 Integra 2 weeks ago. No change that we could see when comparing it to a 23 except $200 less for the last year.

The 11th Gen Honda Civic in its 3rd iteration, 2022, 2023, and 2024 have not seen a refresh. Basically, there are 2 more years remaining before the 12th Generation 2027 model arrives in late 2026. I do not foresee any updates/upgrades other than Honda Sensing or a Recall that demands a change before the 12th Generation. The 11th Generation Civic is also known as the "Baby Accord". The Civic is affordable at the nice Sport Trim. Overall, the best trim is the Touring but unfortunately costs over $31K and is not able to justify the MSRP. The Civic SI offers a 6-speed manual transmission and might be a better consideration than the Touring for the Si base MSRP of $29,100. The sporty Civic Type R is rather nice but there are other vehicles to be considered in that high price range. My wife has the 2022 Honda Civic Touring with its elegant interior and overall is a nice riding small sedan. Ground clearance is 5.3 inches. Not meant for Big and Tall people. The biggest complaint is the Idle-Stop feature as it is annoying and aggravating.
Just don’t press the brakes so hard when you stop and the idle stop won’t engage

It is annoying but literally one of the easiest settings to change because it has its own button 😅

are the 1.5 turbo engines reliable. what about pricing. does the hatchback still have the 6 speed manual.
Honda engines are reliable. The MSRP for a Honda Civic hatchback is $25,845 for the LX. The Civic hatchback does a 6 speed manual transmission option.
The 1.5 turbo Earths Dream engine is now better than the earlier Civics of the 10th Generation. Very few complaints about Oil Dilution anymore as they are rare. The Civic Hatchback Touring offers both CVT and 6MT. Note: the Hatchback length is shorter than the Sedan and a tad nosier. As the MSRP cost for a 2023 and 2024 Civic Touring trim of over $31K cannot be justified. It was tough to consider buying in 2022 when near $30K. May want to look into the Civic Si which is also a 6MT.
That turbo has been around since 2016… in 2017 oil dilution was a problem but not since. I have a 2020 CR-V EX-L and it is by far the best engine I’ve driven and much better than a 2.4L, it feels like a 3.0L
how do you reset the mileage on the trip odometer on dashboard of 2024 Honda Civic
I'll make a video, it's easy, though. On the left-hand side of the steering wheel, go to the little roll bar, move that until you see the different settings on the left side of the
speedometer, once you get to the trip setting there's a menu that says "reset" push the rollbar in and that'll reset the trip odometer.

That is correct, just the year. I feel Honda could've at least added a new feature, don't expect a new design considering the body style just changed.
