Zeta Kai this is a wonderful reviews and, above all, you fulfilled your promise! You've made a Gundam Age 3 Orbital Review! I hoped to see it soon and here it is! I think there are only a few differences with the Age 3 Normal but, as in life happens, little details make big differences! This model kit looks great, even if in my personal list, the Gundam FX is still my favourite Gunpla of the Gundam Age 3rd generation. I'd love to see your review of the FX (if possible) because I've never seen a review of it, but above all, I'd know its pros and cons from someone I trust in. Age kits are kind of hard to find. Bandai will reprint some in April though. But I really want to get the MGs. Sadly, the MG Age-3 and MG Age-FX were cancelled.
I forgot to mention that particular injustice in the review! I even had a little note to remind me. Kio trashed it in the show, too. Another crime against this beauty.
Haha, yeah! I do still go to the nines with the odd kit, and others I do some extra work here and there. But somedays I find the most enjoyment out of a simple snap build. That's why I love this hobby: there are so many ways to enjoy it!
I think this particular kit holds up to abuse. I could see some of the joints suffering the typical looseness from wear and tear. And, as mentioned, the front skirts will pop off if you've separated them. But otherwise, I find it solid. I've had it for years and it's alluring looks have prompted me to take it down, change up the poses, and generally "play" with it more often than many other kits. Most of my kits have been "play-tested" by an actual child. And by my son!
Age is a highly underrated series

The cancellation of those MGs was a tragedy. 😭
We were that close to getting MGs of those. Unless they cancelled it to be released on the Decade of AGE, this is so sad.
I hope Bandai reprimts Orbital sometime this year... really want this kit.
