Whenever I see Lethal Weapon on TV, it remind me how much I miss you, dad. I will remember you as long as I live, and I hope we get to watch it one more time together. 🖤
Yes sir this is my story the first half of my life running from different states even living in a abandoned train station in Memphis but by God's grace i have been sober for 30 years and been driving truck and now I am instructor and 4 wonderful children and 9 grandchildren grandchildren

Yes this is Probably Me.. absolutely soul wrenching.. yes have to let go to evolve plus to break the cycle of going nowhere in a relationship.. this is profoundly deep to those that understand.. we have to let go.. so the one we love will realise who is real and true🌹🌹
This will always bring me back to the Lethal Weapon movies. They don't make movies depicting the kind of friendship worthy of such a song anymore. I'm so glad we have DVD to watch them again.
La première fois que j'ai entendu cette chanson, j'en ai pleurer tellement elle était magnifique. 20 après, cela n'a pas changé. Merci Sting pour tes exceptionnelles chansons.
this version of the song inspired me to start learning guitar back on a cold winters day in 1992. I still enjoy playing today, many thanks Sting and Eric
This song is like a fine wine...... Gets better with time, and it was just NOT MEANT for top 40 radio airplay. It is the type of experience that you go searching for, from a memory you had several years ago from when you were a STING fan, but had to go and serve your country and did NOT hear any music for over a year, then you come back to CON-US, and listen to this and you remember the 3 guys that you lost in your squad................ and have a breakdown in an airport when I hear this song as it HITS me LIKE A SLEDGE HAMMER. This song will always be here for me and all who are here now. God Bless you ALL

Please stop telling people that this era of music is over. It’s also your fault if the radio always plays commercial stuff. And when I say you, it’s not even personal, I’m just talking to all the people who is so pessimistic. Just support the young people who try to play this kind of music, possibly without being obsessed with the past. Don’t misunderstand me, please, I love this kind of music, otherwise I wouldn’t be here, but still… …let’s support the next generation: Ezra collective, Cherise, Alfa mist, Masego… Blues and jazz will never die my friends. I dunno how many times I've been through this song and a host of other by him on a regular basis. Never get sick of listening. To me, this stuff is truly great music.
Wow I am listening to this for the first time! This is so smooth, engaging with beautiful lyrics. Sting has the soothing voice, David Sanborn and Eric Clapton are great! The entire ensemble is just marvelous.
Listening in silent awe. So much storytelling and deep feelings with only a few well chosen musical layers. Not even that complex, no spinning kicks and flying punches, just a little rhytm and a bass, but the magic starts to happen and takes you on a journey. I love this guy. He's the most valuable music of my younger years, he's the world I wanted to live in when I grow older, these songs taught me the most important lessons about life. Thank you Sir. For all your timeless classics. Just thank you.
iv always listened to rap music never country never rock nothing but rap probably because of where i was raised but the moment i heard this song it humbled me greatly gave me goose bumps made the hair on my arms stand up i listen to this song everyday even got my homies singing it word for word all drunk as hell😂

This is such a powerful song. Great lyrics, best musicians and it just gives me a massive rush when I hear it in my earbuds. This tune is timeless. Thank you for this wonderful work of musical mastery.
I know this is Sting's song, but vocally, both he and Greg Porter bring a vibe that is very different but equally touching. And Mr. Eric Clapton? Umm. Wow. Chef's kiss, testifying hands waving all over the place, all that.
Resonates deep with me this one, always loved Sting and I was in a bad place and homeless when this song came out, always reminds me of that time, great song but very bittersweet ❤️
The only thing I have to say - a great song performed by great musicians. There is no other guitar player who can play with so much feeling like Eric Clapton and no other singer who can sing a song like Sting. I have to mention the man on the saxophone David Sanborn - another great musician. A song that will live forever.

When I first heard this song on Lethal Weapon 3, I went out bought the CD just for this song. I’ve been playing it ever since and it hits just as hard as it did the first time. Sting, Eric Clapton and David Sanborn! Just wow!

The thing I like most about this song is, even though it was written for Part 3, it could count for the whole series; the melody can be heard all the way back to the score for the first movie.
Don't know why but this song is so perfect for this movie. You know what? I really miss this time when we had these action movies, and the ost was that awesome so you can remember it 21years later.
The solo in this song is just PERFECT!!! It flows like water. The articulation, tone, clean technique, no stupid overplaying. Feels natural as breathing. Oh right, I forgot...God played it. No wonder. hhh

The Clapton guitar just blends so good with this song it’s just a work of art. The course is such a sweet transition as well

The sound of the zippo flipping, striking and closing on beat is hands down the coolest sound any artist has ever put in a song.

I agree but I don't understand the sequence, because to me it sound like. Open. Light. Close. Close, which is impossible to do ?
It's a video sample from the opening credits of the 80's Blockbuster Lethal weapon in which this song was included. Come on guys.
Clapton's guitar work is legendary on this track. With Stings vocals its a winning combination!!
Don't forget the legend David on sax

perfect duo bro!!
I hear an electric guitar ? On the video, EC plays a nylon… 😉 Am I right ?
Tu as oublié le saxophone, sans lui le film n'aurait pas donner le même goût.

Well said
On a mainstream level fair enough! Still plenty of incredible stuff around, just not a commercial level
One of the most amazing songs out there. This is one of those very few examples of what music really is! Love this song, forever!
Is it just me, or there's like a nostalgia of the 90's in this awesome tune ?

This is my favourite Sting song ever. Hits at an emotional level
If the night turned cold
And the stars looked down
And you hug yourself
On the cold, cold ground
You wake the morning
In a stranger's coat
No one would you see
Ask yourself, 'Who'd watch for me?
'My only friend, who could it be?'
It's hard to say it
I hate to say it
But it's probably me
When your belly's empty
And the hunger's so real
And you're too proud to beg
And too dumb to steal
You search the city
For your only friend
No-one would you see
You ask yourself, 'Who could it be?
'A solitary voice to speak out and set me free'
I hate to say it
I hate to say it
But it's probably me
You're not the easiest person that I ever got to know
And it's hard for us both to let our feelings show
Some would say
I should let you go your way
You'll only make me cry
But if there's one guy, just one guy
Who'd lay down his life for you and die
It's hard to say it
I hate to say it
But it's probably me
When the world's gone crazy, and it makes no sense
And there's only one voice that comes to your defence
And the jury's out
And your eyes search the room
One friendly face is all you need to see
And if there's one guy, just one guy
Who'd lay down his life for you and die
It's hard to say it
I hate to say it
But it's probably me
I hate to say it
I hate to say
But it's probably me
I hate to say it
I hate to say
But it's probably me
I hate to say it
I hate to say
But it's probably me
