Pro tip Andi... don't hold the vintage glass by the handle. The handles are applied and decorative, not functional. They can snap off pretty easily, if held by the handle. (this is unfortunately from experience)
I’m commenting on a short you did recently about boxes. THAT IS ME! Yeah boxes!! I love getting boxes, finding boxes. Can’t turn them away! Such a cute video. Thx
Hi, The old beautiful basket appears to have the Navajo design “whirling logs”. The Whirling Log is often confused with the Nazi swastika because of their visual similarity. In 1939, the Diné (Navajo) people stopped using the Whirling Log in their art after Adolph Hitler adopted the symbol.
Yeah there are no original symbols it seems! That design is ancient and the Nazi party co-oped it and made it evil. TFS about the indigenous info - never knew this!
The swinging wood candle holder would be for a ship/boat? I love rattan wicker and you are the only reseller I see grab those pieces...the resellers I watch anyway. The milk glass swung will look good with cobalt glass in the winter.
Hi Andi! New viewer here. I just found your account probably a week or so ago and I’ve watched SO many of your videos since then. I love your style of decor and love watching you find treasures!
If you decide to keep the sweater: if it's wool, you can try steaming it and then letting it dry in the sun. If it's acrylic, it will take multiple washes to soften it, if ever.
I started collecting glass, mostly Italian, midcentury around 30 years ago. I have never seen the piece that you just shown. Do not disregard glass. I have a vase from an artist whose pieces are selling for $1500, it was in a give away pile. That's where you take it to UPS or Fed Ex, they pack and insure,
Gorgeous basket!!!! What a find. Love it. Always love vintage myrtlewood being an Oregonian and from a town that use to have a myrtlewood factory as well as a myrtlewood gift shop downtown. And I’m sure someone likely mentioned that the fish trivet/wall plaque is made by famous pottery artist Victoria Littlejohn. Hope you snagged that piece, too! 🌸
I’ve sold perfect Shiny Brite boxes for like $30 EMPTY so I look for boxes now. On the tag I put “empty” and tie it all up with bakers twine. TFS and love the haul!❤
Hi Andi, just recently found your channel and really love all your content. Since you seem to clean some of your brass, I was curious if you had a helpful hint on doing so. I recently cleaned an old piece I purchased at estate sale, and boy it was a job getting all those years of grime off. Anything you can share I'd appreciate.
Hi Andi! You scored some amazing deals and really cool pieces. You could try the milk glass vase at your booth space to draw the eye to other items. It's a stunning piece. Do you have any bucket list items which are keepers?
Andi ☀️ Wow I would love it if for once if you went into a antique mall, rummage sale or estate sale & bought everything that you normally don't buy! You passed up so many goodies you have no idea 💡 also please do not handle the swamp milk glass vase by its handle it is not sturdy and will break off very easily. I am happy for you that you found one of the items on your wish list. That's always a great feeling! Congratulations 🎉 👏. Also that sweater is going to take a lot of cleaning to make those soft. Good luck with that one 😉
Random ?? Do you have a video of how/where you store your inventory? I try to keep mine contained in one large spare bedroom that does have a double closet. But I’m always “fighting” with wanting it to always look presentable. Ideas?
Glass is a tricky one it always seems hard to identify some pieces. I picked up a small glass vase today and it’s been attributed to Kosta Boda and about 2 other design houses. 🤷♀️ Nice swung vase though!
Hi ! I’m new at buying from on line stores. I would like to purchase the Native American? Basket that you showed at 😮the start of your video. Thank You…. Plz give me instructions:) thanx again
I was going to go but we are home until the 19th so I just missed it the transplant was moved to October 23rd, today is my birthday and I just feel so sad. Christmas is selling now. I love all the wood and that basket from value village. The swung glass is awesome too 👏🏼 good for you Andi
I also found a few things at the PDX Estate Sale, but things were pretty picked over. I'm curious, do you wash or dry clean the pillows before you sell them? Thanks!
Colored glass are the popular, big money, swung vases. Milk glass is OK, so you could get around 50.00. Definitely in a booth, you dont want to ship that sucker.
The bear and bull bookends are in reference to the two opposing sides of the stock market. The simple painting was my favorite.

FYI on the itchy sweater. A trick knitters use with rustic yarn is to soak in water with hair conditioner. That can soften the fibers for comfort.
@@JulezySays thank you for that tip 👍❤️

The wood piece with the hole through it was probably a lamp 😊
I came to say the same thing. 😊
I feel like the glass ewer in that size is a little more unusual. And white seems great for the upcoming Christmas season!

I usually wear a long sleeve t-shirt under any sweaters that are made from wool or are itchy so that the fibers don't sit on my skin directly.
Fun Haul! Fenton (most likely) White Glass Hobnail Swung Ewer but best as a vase; could styled up for holiday booth styling; torture to ship.
I would have snapped up that little vintage pipe cleaner Santa. I love those! 😍🎄
I’d love to hear about what’s on your thrifting bingo card!
With the cantilever candle... can you hang the base on the wall so it turns into a sconce? Very cool.
That's actually what it is. The candle would need to be perfectly weighted for it to sit upright and be used on a shelf or table.

Wash your sweater and rinse it with cold water and hair conditioner to help make it softer
I love the milk glass I think it is gorgeous . I haven't seen one like that before. Great job good price.
Keep the sweater for yourself! Definitely! It is SO you ❤
Love the idea of an estate store! And that lamp was fantastic 😍
“I’ll Think About It” famous last words!
The wooden face thing u could put a test tube inside and use it as a bud vase.

Loved everything that you bought, the painting, ornaments, brass, swung vase.....😊😊
You have a Fenton Hobnail milk glass swung vase. It’s worth $50 retail.
Thank you!
Hi Andi ask George ( antic nomad) about your swung milk glass vase ' not sure if you know hin but I know Laura does . Hope this helps 😊
Andi are you going to show what you got on vacation?want to see what you sourced 😊

Your brass statue looks great in the background. 😍
Aside from the great finds, fyi, makeup, no makeup , you look so pretty👍🏻👍🏻
Oh and the Myrtle wood stuff how fun
Great video thanks
How do you look so pretty without make-up!! Love, love your channel ❤
Bull and bear bookends refers to stock market
That basket!!! omg
4:00 Were those glass plates by Georges Briard?
yes
I want em!

Thanks for watching! I actually give a bit of a tutorial in this video: th-cam.com/video/DNmFOUwGeaU/w-d-xo.html.

I found a awesome exlarge pristine turquoise swing vase on a free pile...go figure 😍

We need to know what's on your thrifting bingo card 🎉 I also found that same brass sconce today at my local goodwill ❤
The white swung looks like the Fenton milk glass hobnail ewer
An ewer is what the shape is called with handle.

Sweater I’d wash by hand in woolite
I sell vintage clothing. For acrylic I pop them into a sweater bag and wash them on the gentle cycle.
A trick knitters use for itchy yarn is to soak in water with hair conditioner. Not sure about acrylic but it works with wool :-).
Great haul ❤ please do a video on how to jump start our Etsy shop. I’ve run sales and still nothing please help😢😢😢😢
I was at the same PDX estate sale! Spent some money.
I was going to go but we are home until the 19th so I just missed it the transplant was moved to October 23rd, today is my birthday and I just feel so sad. Christmas is selling now. I love all the wood and that basket from value village. The swung glass is awesome too 👏🏼 good for you Andi
Could the carved wood piece be from a lamp that was disassembled?
I also found a few things at the PDX Estate Sale, but things were pretty picked over. I'm curious, do you wash or dry clean the pillows before you sell them? Thanks!

Thanks for the tips!
😊
Question: is this your full time job? How much do you earn?
Grateful your channel came up in my suggestion!! Im hoping to pick up some tips to ungrade my reselling 😊
Welcome!! :)
You wear me out. You are so indecisive. I don't know how you ever get anything done. Your mother is great. Good luck to you.
Rude
I find her adorable
That's just her style. She's, actually, kicking ass! She gets more done than most of us ever will. Good luck to you.
What an ugly comment! How about you just 🤐
❤
