I’ve been here when I was a teenager, it’s the cyberdome crystal maze family center in Wales 😁 I remember doing the maze when I was 15, it’s such a shame to see it like that now :(

This is the abandoned Canaston Bowl in Pembrokeshire (Wales, UK)
So weird seeing these guys walk around the crystal maze which I used to absolutely love as a kid! It's nice seeing them have so much fun with whats left.

I doubt very much that it's The Crystal Maze. Firstly, that show ended much more than 8 years ago. It was remade recently. Both of those were much bigger sets and didn't have arcade machines in. Secondly, it already has two active experiences that are very much open and cost money to go through. If it is abandoned, it is unlikely to be anything that was successful/actually on tv.
Edit: Seems it was an attraction *based on* the show but clearly not anything televised, it's too small.
Luke Joseph UK yeah that’s what I was thinking that it seemed more like something based on the show for kids or something to play through. Some areas are way too small too
Holy crap, I went here as a kid, like 20 years ago. Much nostalgia.
You’d have to read the messages on the screens and report to different areas to perform tasks and challenges, like playing an 8 bit version of asteroid or moon landing, or get through an area within a certain time limit. If you won your challenge you’d get more time in the final area where you had to rush around inside a large crystal ball and hit buttons when they lit up.
The aim was to get a high score and a certificate at the end proclaiming “you’d beaten the crystal maze”.
You should try getting a 360 camera. That would be dope to see while you go through places.

I live not far from this Crystal Maze, I was there when it was last open in 2010 and it brought back so many memories seeing you guys there.
However it's sad to see the state is in now after only 8 years being shut. Also earned a sub from me.

It has been established what it is. It isn't an exact replica of the original set, it was an attraction/arcade type place that had a section loosely based on the show and didn't sound officially licensed. Cyberdome crystal maze or something.

Cool video but what the hell was that camera kick at the end ? I'm guessing the property owner was annoyed when he discovered the explorers and tried to run them down. He then kicked the camera ! Damn kicking an explorers camera is asking for trouble !! I guess we find out next episode.

+Helen Hollywood Explores . Sounds like he should have been a resident at the Asylum rather than work there. Trying to run people down is really dangerous. If he isn't the property owner, why does he even care if people want to have a look around ? Obviously not out of any concern for explorers' safety. Also if he isn't employed there, then he has no authority to ask you to leave.

I went to that Crystal Maze game as a kid! There was even a big dome at the end like the TV show where you have to press the right coloured buttons when they lit up

Legends Of The Hidden Temple, was a Nickelodeon game show and it came out in the year 1993-1995. This show only ran for 3 episodes and they ended this game show for good. I use to like watching this show 😊😊.

Wow I know exactly where this is so many great memories when I was younger, the Maze was closed 2 years before the bowling alley was closed I think it was something to do with the maze being damaged and it would cost too much to repair. If it’s the place I’m thinking of it was owned by the theme park next door for years :D

This is in Pembrokeshire. The game was called the Crystal Maze, and was based on the TV show. You had various rooms, and zones and had to compete the challenges, in the allotted time, or you would get stuck in the room. I remember going. It’s a shame, how run down it now is. Especially, how I remember it.
No wonder the place closed down they couldn't even cut the ends off the zip ties on the bridge 😜

The tarantula bit used to have a cased area that could be seen from outside and the unlucky one had to go in that small area and put hand through a hole and be guided by those who could see in from outside. They guided you through the Web and you had to press a button by the tarantula.. I remember the freaking out over the idea of touching it! But of course it was just a furry fake!
Watching this brings back so many memories! I remember going here as a kid, everyone had their birthdays here! So many good memories! So cool to see how it looks now!
You never know what your going to discover in an exploration of the world. Exploring is awesome!
The crystal maze was a spin off from the original tv show back in the 1990's iirc there were 4 in the UK -London, Manchester, S Wales and Blackpool. The teams got a swipe card and a screen told them what world and game to find. On finding the game they swiped in and a team member attempted the game, if you won a crystal was added to your score. At the end of your time you were summoned to the crystal dome where you had to try and hit crystal lights when they lit up, and avoid the skull lights that lit up, giving a total score at the end. Brilliant fun, I wish we still had them.
Did anybody else go and watched a couple of episodes of the show and then came back and watched this video for the second time and saw nothing that was on the show in the video like the set looks smaller than what it did on the show I saw no doors the only thing I saw that was on the show was the mirror room because one of the contestants had to go into it and kiss the princess in order to get the crystal

Me and my friends had so many of our birthday parties here! Finishing a quest then reading the riddles we were given to work out which quest was next and then running as fast as we could to it! We fell down on that slide so many times and got so many bruises haha 😂

During the bowling ally timelaps when they went in to the pin machine I feared that the 400+ pounds of it would actavate and crush them cuz thoes mechines can crush pins and crack bolwing balls
