The house was built in 1993 abandoned around 2013 its in Long Island. Its also on the market for around 2,000 dollars. The reason for being abandoned is because of all the animals Michael and Marylin Gladstein had and how they didn't take care of them. After Law Enforcement saw what was happening they took Mr. and Mrs. Gladstein to jail for animal neglect and they both faced felony charges. That's about all I found out on the house.

There is no way this house was only built in 1993. Look at the wallpaper, the old furniture/wardrobe in the girls "playroom" & the paint peeling off the ceilings. It is an absolutely stunning house. Love the Alice in Wonderland theme & the play house out back.
I'm looking at the colors that they painted the walls with, it seems as if they were going to make the whole house into an Alice and Wonderland scene. It would have been amazing to see
The place wasnt untouched at all. I came here in 2015 and made all the stuff look better because it looked so much better in photos when neat. The place was beyond trashed. And some local kids found the house and broke the stairway to the spiral staircase. Its funny when u notice some of those things in the house that i literally put there. The top floors were mainly untouched but the bottom floor was trashed for the reason most already know what happened to the house.

Jessica Lowe they did have dogs and the reason why the parents went to jail was because they abused hundreds of dogs and the dogs killed each other because of the little food and water they had and the bodies of the dogs are still there i think...

think about it, it's been a good probably 19 years since anyone lived here, just because it's a dump now doesn't mean it looked like this back when people lived in it
There is also the possibility that they were given so many toys as a distraction to make them think things were okay. Also many times abusers give gifts to "apologize." If anything all the toys could have been a way to further neglect the kids. Leaving the kids to play with the toys instead of bothering the parents.
@@TheAgeOfLyrics no he's saying that, in the backstory the parents had neglected the animals so bad, the dogs urine was strong enough to cause the fire alarms to go off... no child should have to live in an animal abused home that reeks of feces... regardless if the children were spoiled.

Great Job Josh! Beautiful Home! It would appear the children had a nice home. Then again, who knows? The house paints tragic story. It all makes me feel bad for the children. Sometimes people don't think things out.
Very cool! The Alice in Wonderland theme is adorable for a little girl's room. Very sweet! No worries about dolls being haunted. Ha ha! I make art dolls to sell, so I can tell you for sure that not one has ever done anything freaky! I wonder what I'd do if that happened? Freak out, or try to talk to them? Glad I never have to find out! Hey thanks! What a great video! Enjoyed the tour very much!
Laura Kehtarnavaz but I thought if you don't pay it for years(probably been in jail for years based on the state of their home) the government shuts it off
That only happens if it's logged. If not the money still comes from their account to the energy suplier, while the supplier continues to supply the energy. It's a weird one, we have a few businesses we supply energy to at work and some of those business have closed but still have an energy supply.
Alright, I never would have thought I’d cry at this, but when you showed all the stuffed animals and toys left behind, I got upset about the little girls having their whole lives ripped away, and they couldn’t even take their toys with them. Then you picked up the doll off of one of their beds, and it’s literally the SAME doll my daughters have, and that’s where I lost it. It’s so cool to see the stuff, but as a mom, it’s so heartbreaking.
*Hey Josh, there MUST be a way to give out some more info without revealing the actual location. It's just so interesting to know the story behind those houses, specially the furnished ones... Please find a way to tell us more about it! :)*
I swear Josh just visited this place like yesterday and the video is already up! 😳🙌🏽 *Fully grinding!* And that transition from the colouring book to the dining table & that dog house though yoooo haha 💯👌🏽
The mallets in the attic are part of a game, I forget what it’s called, but it’s in the original Alice in wonderland. Go watch it I swear, something about Alice in wonderland with that family
That's so sad because if I was one of the girls I would definitely come back to my old house to pick souvenirs from my sister and I. The saddest part is that they maybe don't even remember this house or at least the location. I don't know but I love this kind of exploring since you are both really respectful. I wish sometimes I could be with you especially in Europe to bring a little bit of my tiny historical knowledge !!
That's an awesome video and the little piece of the story that you gave is so sad and emotional. Even if these places are abandoned, it sometimes seems that the past is still there... I love your passion for the videos you make so much. It always feels like you can dive into another world for a few minutes...
Omg.... YES!!! This is one of my life long goals.... to just buy an abandoned house and fix it up and live in it. These videos and stories are INCREDIBLY interesting but, also break my heart AND piss the hell out of that people loot and vandalize. I always wonder WHO owns them now? There was power going to that lamp! Weirdddd.

As an antique collector it kinda hurts to see some of the things that have been left behind to be forgotten when there’s a collector out there who would love them.
Why is he making jokes about them loving their dog? He must know the story behind it. They neglected their dogs, 115 dogs eating each other. The reason everything is left there is because it’s contaminated, from dog urine, and other things. Apparently lots of dog remains were found around the house as well. It’s honestly not funny to joke about them loving their dogs. Want more? Look up Michael and Marilyn Gladstein, those are the ones who lived there. Not a fun story...
If they had 100s of dogs in that house, why are there no signs of it?? No feces, no dog dishes, no animal hair, nothing to indicate animals except for the rabbit pen in the attic.
Haha I was yelling in my head “it’s a play house!” And then I was baffled as to why he wouldn’t have wondered why they would put a ladder and mezzanine floor in a “dogs house”. Haha love it
It must take so much self-control to not just take stuff that you know basically has no owner anymore. You're a better/stronger man than I am lmao, sick find.
The little girls room is just so personal... All her dresses, toys, dolls and stuff.. To a blind eye its just "stuff" but to a little girl those are her treasures... And to see all the stuff left in such a hurry (And under such circumstances), breaks my heart
That game you found in he attic at 11:30 is called croquet, but it fits with them theme of the house. In Alice in Wonderland they play it (bur in the book the balls are live hegehogs and the mallets are live flamingos).
That was adorable when you put the doll on the pillow. Also that creepy doll. No thanks. I'd put it away somewhere so nobody else will get scared. And the game, croquet (crow-k)
Hey Josh just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do. You've been a huge inspiration in my life and my decision to actually go out and live. For the past 6 years I have been wasting my life away in factories, working 12 hours a day and feeling like a zombie; just to get enough sleep to wake up and do it again. I'm happy to say that after spending the past few months watching your videos, I will be putting that life behind me. This will be the last week I ever step foot in another factory.. Well.. At least one that's operational; seeing as I also share your passion of exploration. So I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your adventures with us and I hope you continue to inspire others similar to the way you've inspired me. Excited for the next video, have a good one and keep up the good work!
watching you guys go through this amazing place, made me feel so sad for some reason. like there was the look of so much love that had happened there, and then everything just left. that house just feels so sad...
The house ones are definitely the best cause of all the personal defects. Just started watching your videos and im addicted to them I can't stop watching I would definitely do some exploring with you I'm from U.K.
Hey Josh, you might wanna know this, I dont know if anyone else has said this yet. The game you found in the attic which you said people play in England, its called CROQUET and its an important part of the book Alice in Wonderland. Just thought that was cool, it really is the alice in wonderland house. Love you videos, your the best Lexi from England
This house never had 115 dogs in it, or the floors and beds would have been obviously destroyed. And a clean bunny hutch in the attic, plus ONE built in dog house in the back yard. Get real. The couple everyone keeps talking about had a donkey and a goat! This CAN NOT be the house they had them in. That ammonia smell does NOT come out.
Is it just me or did it look like someone has been living in/using that house in some capacity? I mean the electricity is still on, the top of that piano was hardly dirty at all as well as that dining room table which looked like it was setup for seven people or so. I wonder if the water and gas utilities were still working..... Perhaps someone was making their own amateur mystery/horror film?
In the attic, the game mallet and ball, popular in Europe, is called, cricket. ...most popular among the upper class as well. The family who lived here were blessed massively. The two daughters, it seemed as though they were spoiled. That walk in closet of the parents room was massive. It's a shame, memories rotting away, and a once lovely home gone to nothing.sad.so sad.

Pretty Liar For me too. It scared me so much as a kid. I was afraid to fall into a hole :(
Pretty Liar p
So creepy
destiny love the original story has really dark undertones so you have every right to be creeped by it.
You're the best at making vids with whimsical, dark fairy tale type of vibes
Im I weird for wanting to take some of the books and dolls
Daniela Doll no 😂😂 I wanted to aswell
I'd like to have all those useful things
No because to be honest I did to
Nope, I wanted to as well sis
Daniela Doll I would want to but I wouldn’t take anything cause ya know it’s like stealing I think?
"The Harry Potter kid"... you mean Harry Potter?
Toby Zappoodle I thought I was the only one who caught that 😂
Toby Zappoodle THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID
Toby Zappoodle 😂😂😂😂
Oh my god! They had a proper croquet set! *cough* The Queen of Hearts *cough*
Your videos are great but I wish you gave the full history behind the places you go
Baking Is life The house was built in 1993 abandoned around 2013 its in Long Island.
This is wrong, this is not the Gladstein house! Google the real one before you spread false info
Sarah Schmidt ...it is...look on google maps 168 Chichester Road
Mercedes C ...3 mil
He doesn't because he wants to keep to himself I mean his greedy as fuck off course he can't tell you on cam because after shooting when he clear the place out you mind notes what he toke if you go to same place he has been u will see what is gone there is so much to take and sell or trade in for money in there every place this guy goes he never tells you he films everything as fast he can so he can start to load up his car do you really think he just go in there and film and walk out without taking anything He can play pelite on cam but NO Freaking wayyyyyyyyy!!!!! Every explores people who goes to places like this do same even tells you that there are some valuable things to take
I finally was able to to watch your video. I have to say I really really respect you for respecting the people who use to live there by blocking there faces from pictures. People like you are very rare. You make exploring abandoning place look very exciting. 😄
Love it that you always protect the buildings by not giving away their locations. Great video as always. 👍
Dishes are too clean for being abandoned
3:15 the white wrapped up thing says Emily
Emily was the name of the daughter living there.
Oh! I forgot....the game you showed is called croquette. I had one as a kid.
Marta Peterson Womack but the story behind it, it sad...
Marta Peterson Womack by
Ok but who’s paying the electricity bill for that damn lamp
I know right
That damn lamp is the only thing on the elitric bill
Mate they arw in prison ... You think they got chance to cancel their electric? 😂 Poor fuckers still paying
Wait why is the top of the fireplace decorated for christmas but the dining table was decorated for fall?
the table setup was added after the family left
Alright, I never would have thought I’d cry at this, but when you showed all the stuffed animals and toys left behind, I got upset about the little girls having their whole lives ripped away, and they couldn’t even take their toys with them. Then you picked up the doll off of one of their beds, and it’s literally the SAME doll my daughters have, and that’s where I lost it. It’s so cool to see the stuff, but as a mom, it’s so heartbreaking.
This is so cool. I really hope the two girls are able to come back here and possibly get some of their photos back. Nice find!
Beautiful! Nicely captured! I’d love to hear more about the history of the place -and their poor children... having to leave everything behind...
Could you imagine being one of the kids that lived here and coming across this video? All the toys they had to leave behind. So sad.
It was a playhouse not a dog house
MJ Johnson right why would a dog need stairs ?
lol
Arghh what I'd do for those vintage clothes and stuffed animals. So gorgeous and it's all just collecting dust now:(
Really love the way you edited the beginning. So beautiful 😍
Jodi~~that's what makes me want to stay tuned in. The beginning of video is AWESOME
Mike Lamprecht it really is!
When you sat by the piano LMAO
Yeah, can't believe how fast he learned how to play. LOL!!
Josh's thinking: "Yeah I'll just pretend to play an emotional song while having some piano music playing in the background"
*Hey Josh, there MUST be a way to give out some more info without revealing the actual location. It's just so interesting to know the story behind those houses, specially the furnished ones... Please find a way to tell us more about it! :)*
I agree and it would stop all the wrong info
It’s the animal neglect house
168 Chichester Road
I swear Josh just visited this place like yesterday and the video is already up! 😳🙌🏽 *Fully grinding!* And that transition from the colouring book to the dining table & that dog house though yoooo haha 💯👌🏽
Lubii Lubna not a dog house , it's a Wendy house hahaha
Lubii Lubna so where is it I'd like to visit
I can’t help but feel bad for the family, they had thier entire life taken away.
Nah if you know the story you don't feel bad for them
Erin Cantu what's the story
Erin - what's the story behind the family? Why did they go to prison?
can u post a link to the story at least?
What about the kids?
The mallets in the attic are part of a game, I forget what it’s called, but it’s in the original Alice in wonderland. Go watch it I swear, something about Alice in wonderland with that family
Jaxson Animates croquet
Yes, croquet. We used to play it at all my family reunions when I was a child.
Croquet. They used flamingos upside down and little hamsters as the ball.
princess zelda ...same here...& in the Midwest....
Thats not a dog house lol, thats for the little girls to play in, its like their "secret playhouse"
That small house in the garden is called a Wendy house, I used to have one as a kid x
Yo that’s not for a dog it’s a playhouse for the kids I used to have one lmao dogs can’t climb a ladder
+1
Actually dogs can climb ladders. But you are right about it being a playhouse
I usually don’t believe titles when they say “must see” but this one was actually true
I teared up watching this...the vibe of the house is just overwhelmingly sad. I imagine that it was just completely breathtaking once...
That's an awesome video and the little piece of the story that you gave is so sad and emotional. Even if these places are abandoned, it sometimes seems that the past is still there... I love your passion for the videos you make so much. It always feels like you can dive into another world for a few minutes...
Don’t you wish you can just protect this house?! Can you buy it?
Omg.... YES!!! This is one of my life long goals.... to just buy an abandoned house and fix it up and live in it. These videos and stories are INCREDIBLY interesting but, also break my heart AND piss the hell out of that people loot and vandalize. I always wonder WHO owns them now? There was power going to that lamp! Weirdddd.
This house has a scary past dog bones and everything were found inside the HOUSE and they abused hundreds of dogs and animals they were evil
J Còe wrong house bud
The house was built in 1993 abandoned around 2013 its in Long Island. Its also on the market for around 2,000 dollars. The reason for being abandoned is because of all the animals Michael and Marylin Gladstein had and how they didn't take care of them. After Law Enforcement saw what was happening they took Mr. and Mrs. Gladstein to jail for animal neglect and they both faced felony charges. That's about all I found out on the house.
Bugzpudding correct house “bud”
As an antique collector it kinda hurts to see some of the things that have been left behind to be forgotten when there’s a collector out there who would love them.
Its so cute how he keeps calling them "bunnies" instead of rabbits. Luv ya Josh! Oh and the game at 15:07 is called Croquet.
The "dog house" was a play house for children 😂
Miss Maynard ...toys were all over...but sure, dogs would go in too...there were 115-150 pets to choose from...
MultifandomStruggles nahhh its a different one. I swear this is the “home alone” house not the Gladstein house
@@holly8428 I just google mapped it. It's the Gladstein house.
BishDontKillMyVibe Yahhhhhhh, it’s the Gladstein House! Animal abuse to the max! Your info is completely askew, BISH!
He does he clearly said he didn't want to get into all that
If they had 100s of dogs in that house, why are there no signs of it?? No feces, no dog dishes, no animal hair, nothing to indicate animals except for the rabbit pen in the attic.
Such a cool "dog house"😂
Malin16 that's not a dog house
Malin16 not funny, so many dogs were mistreated, they were eating each other so they could get food!
Malin16 I know lol. I was like... have you never heard of a play house before?? 😂😂
Haha I was yelling in my head “it’s a play house!” And then I was baffled as to why he wouldn’t have wondered why they would put a ladder and mezzanine floor in a “dogs house”. Haha love it
That’s not funny, fuck off
It must take so much self-control to not just take stuff that you know basically has no owner anymore.
And the game, croquet (crow-k)
and croquet is a game they play in Alice in Wonderland so illuminati confirmed
I have been subscribed for a long time and this mansion will always be my favorite
Cool find!! I love Alice in Wonderland! The playhouse in the backyard was pretty amazing.
Where you at man? You going to make your own exploration videos?
watching you guys go through this amazing place, made me feel so sad for some reason. like there was the look of so much love that had happened there, and then everything just left. that house just feels so sad...
Into, dolls, books, piano and doll house WOW!
The house ones are definitely the best cause of all the personal defects. Just started watching your videos and im addicted to them I can't stop watching I would definitely do some exploring with you I'm from U.K.
This just makes me curiouser and curiouser
Do you think the 2 daughters ever visit this house again?
Doubtful - the public health department condemned it after the dogs, pony, goats and cat were found.
I feel bad for them
how are u guys not wearing masks?!
Hey Josh, you might wanna know this, I dont know if anyone else has said this yet. The game you found in the attic which you said people play in England, its called CROQUET and its an important part of the book Alice in Wonderland. Just thought that was cool, it really is the alice in wonderland house.
Love you videos, your the best
Lexi from England
What’s the giant red splatter on the wall on the right at 6:19? 🧐
blood ? good find
Flooower Chiiild It’s dirt and grime.
That’s creepy
Flooower Chiiild RIGHT!?
Poop
I'm pretty sure it's a play house lol
sofia mendez
The couple kept an abused pony in that shed, they neglected it and I don’t think Josh read into the history of it much...
All the little girl's things just kinda break my heart.
*love anything Alice in Wonderland* 😍🖤
Love all the pictures you found, what a beautiful place 👌🏻
*love it josh* x
time to ruin your childhood
alice and wonderland was used in mk ultra experiments
Film Bros haha yeah I’m like the plague 😳
But in a fun and happy way, not a ‘making people die’ kinda way 😂😂
But thank you ☺️☺️
Film Bros... :)
this is awesome maybe u can come to new orleans again an explore with me
Ironic you said they must've really loved their dog(s)
Wasn't even a dog house it was a kids play house that's the funny part XD
Stop lol
This house never had 115 dogs in it, or the floors and beds would have been obviously destroyed. And a clean bunny hutch in the attic, plus ONE built in dog house in the back yard. Get real. The couple everyone keeps talking about had a donkey and a goat! This CAN NOT be the house they had them in. That ammonia smell does NOT come out.
Kimberly Thomas It's not a dog house. It's a play house for the girls
Kimberly Thomas ...it is... google 168 Chichester Road ...animal abuse
Those gorgeous antiques!!! SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO HERE!!!
12Mantis my guess is that there were other people there before josh that setup the table and cleaned up etc for a nicer photo/video.
Hmm, yeah, that is a possibility I hadn't considered.
Though that would still leave the question of 'why'?
It’s on market for 3 mil.... google 168 Chichester Road ...animal abuse
Josh the yard game is called Croquet (sounds like crow-kay.)
I love how he keeps the confidentiality of the house so that if these went viral it wouldn't be disturbed and trashed more
you wonder why people that live like this do such awful things.
I wonder who's house this was and why they left it it looks so beautiful I can't imagine what it looked like before being abounded
Yeah... I don't think it would've been a very nice place before it was abandoned tbh abc7ny.com/archive/7660914/
Shettikka Woods It wasn’t for cricket, it’s for croquet, like in the alice and wonderland book/film.
Although there are many Explorer Channels on TH-cam but I LOVE JOSH's CHANNEL ...
