This Famous T-Bone Steak Challenge In Bali Has Been Attempted Over 10,000 Times!!

- For my one and only challenge in Bali, Indonesia, I stopped in to do one of the most famous food challenges in the world at Moo Moo's Steakhouse in the Legian neighborhood of Bali! Over 10,000 people have attempted this steak challenge which features a 1kg T-Bone Steak, a side of steamed veggies, corn on the cob, and a jacket potato. If the challenge is finished in under the 30 minute time limit, winners earn a groovy t-shirt, a winner's certificate, and a spot up on Moo Moo's digital Wall of Fame! (Note: The meal costs ~$45USD win or lose!)

It is only a 1kg (36 ounce) steak challenge and the weight includes the bone. Considering most US steak dinners are 8oz-16ouz of just meat, this was closer to just two dinners. The Balinese aren't big beef eaters.

Must say, I enjoy your clips. However, if a fish or butter knife don't slice through the fillet of your T bone, your cut is exceptionally though and not worth the price.
If you leave the fat and grizzle, it is either a really bad cut of meat, as this is the real flavour to a T bone and is not supposed to be at all difficult to eat easily
Finally a food challenge that even I could win. Price of the t-shirt built into the entree. Perfect marketing!

I have been to Bali twice and each time was magical! I also spent 3 weeks on Gili Trawangan off Lombok, the next island over. Beautiful there. Thank you for visiting there and enjoying steak. Love your vids! PS. Are you calling Milwaukee home now?

Great video. That is an average steak dinner for me. Now, if you want a Steak Dinner Challenge, (very few people have been able to complete this challenge, and yes, it is bigger than the texan)
You need to go for the Lux Steakhouse’s “Old 94oz’er” Steak Challenge!" Located in Edmonton Alberta Canada... Steak Challenge Description
- This challenge includes 94 ounces of perfectly aged, certified AAA Alberta Black Angus beef, 2lbs of lobster mac n’ cheese, 2lbs of potatoes, 1lb of mixed veggies, 1.5lbs of Caeser salad, and about a 1lb slice of chocolate cake.
(That is just over 13lbs of steak alone)
- Everything must be finished within the 1-hour time limit.

Pro tip: those big old fancy looking serrated steak knives suck. Get yourself a folding "personal steak knife" from Amazon or other online retailer for about $30 and cut your steak like a surgeon with a scalpel.
Ive sone a few steak challenges like these. I SWEAR they all give you that general steak/bread knife hyrbid. Cant do either job well, but good enough

You probably won't believe me, but years ago I ate an 8 pound beef roast fixed as a steak in my gas oven, and a whole baking sheet of crinkle cut fries in half an hour. Cooked it myself
