Hi mate great video I fitted one on my Scirocco R recently does your inner coolant hose rest on the new cooler? As mine does just want to make sure it’s not rubbing and is okay like that cheers!
Hi there you check the DSG temperature before and after 10 rows against 20 too see if there a difference I have the Cupra with 14 row oem part don’t see a difference between stock!
I don't think they lower the temp im sure they just keep it more stable
difference should be only when the dsg oil temp goes well above the engine coolant temp. You can only test it on trackdays. I am planning this mod also, because I had problem with 140+ deg dsg oil temp after 3 laps.
@@zoltanbalint8681 i have overheating above 137 temp only for 2 hard laps 1 lap 2.1 KM the dsg go to safe mod its is Sport mod but in manual its enough for 5-6 laps the car is stage 3 about 460 HP GTX turbo Golf R 6

I imagine this is more of a trackday or hot climate upgrade?
Could also be used for day to day driving as should keep the temp more stable and reduced the chance of overheating 👍🏻
Any idea if this will fit under a US version of the car with the battery in the front? What is the total height of the Bar-Tek cooler?
You would have to raise the battery or do a battery relocation to fit it in the US versions. Its too tall to sit under the battery in US models
