All I did was unscrew the screws on the screen, peeled the plastic with no issue, on both of my Alphas.
You got lucky!
@PapaBradLive As soon as I saw the screws were over the peel, I just did it. I've done a million of these little peels, just unscrew then start on the top going down with a lift peel, comes right out
