Man, bitter sweet video... From 2007-2019 Jared was the ONLY person to touch my Supra. It was when the shop he worked at closed, and he started filming with Tavarish, that I had to start going somewhere else. They’re cool, but it’s not the same, as I had a bond with Jared. While I’m extremely happy that he has moved on to the next phase of his life, I’m saddened to have lost such a great technician and friend. Only true car guys will understand. Tavarish ,you have in my opinion, one of THE BEST auto technicians in the world, and just an all around great guy as your partner, and I look forward to seeing more great content from you guys!

I wouldn’t give it away. A lot of hard work went into that car. I remember when he first got it and wondered if he’d ever get it finished after all the other projects he had going on. He finished it and it looks amazing. Very understated but yet looks the goods. However, if I lived in the US I’d love to win it. It’d be my weekend car.

Wow! This is the exact way my buddy Chris wanted to build a Supra. Unfortunately, he passed a few years ago and was never able to buy, build and enjoy his dream. It would be an honor to have this Supra in my garage in his honor! Man... whoever gets this Supra will be lucky! It’s truly amazing!

I'm 42 and I opted for a new 2013 IS-F back in 2013 (original owner) but I hope to own an MK4 someday. Been obsessed with them since 1997 when I got out of high school. Saw one at a Toyota Dealership (95, Red Turbo) and the salesman runs out and says "Well there's your car".
Love the build, I wouldn't trade it or sell it if I were you.

Cars like these have soul, it's like a perfect balance of restraint, knowing that it can scare the shit out of you when pushed but knowing that you don't need to for you to have fun driving it. Like a low-purring tiger. I would love to test drive one these one day.

you inspire me to get better at working on my brz. i know it’s cheesy but that’s how i feel at the end of this vid. i only got my brz 6 months ago, it’s my first manual car and the first car i’ve ever worked on,but i’ve installed coilovers and full exhaust all myself and it’s so liberating to be able to do your own mods instead of relying on other people :)

Good tip. Stuff bread or cake grease inside the pilot hole and keep packing till full then use a metal rod the size of the inside hole of the pilot with paper towels itll come out pretty easy .

This is pretty much exactly like my old Supra.
I had to sell it due to financial issues and it is my biggest regret.
Watching this series has made me deeply sad and happy at the same time. Weird emotional ride bringing back memories both amazing and terrible.
No idea who won this but I truly hope the person that did treats this amazing car with the love it deserves.

I actually just finished watching this series and was wondering when another Supra vid was coming, pleasantly surprised this morning
Congratulations on finishing the build. I feel like I've been following it, and you (and Jared) for so long. It turned out beautiful, but I think the details in the parts and pieces you don't see (LSD, auto map, clutch, etc.) are what make it so great. Again, congrats.
The 2nd best looking 90s Japanese sports car, right behind the FD RX-7 (we're rebuilding an FD as our winter project). Some people may argue for the Del Sol or S2000, but US Del Sols were crap and the S2000 was more of a 2000s car, even though their first year was 1999.
Unreal, keep living the dream. You just have to keep coming up with reasons you can't give it away yet. Best car channel ever.😍

Wow! This car is the thing of dreams. It looks like something you can buy off the lot in 2020. Its so modern looking but has a throwback to my childhood. Truly amazing work, my favorite build so far.

My trick to clutch break-in is double clutching on every shift cutting your break-in time in half. It also reduces wear on your synchros if you make it a habit.

u dont even know how happy this video made me. ive always loved these cars and never been able to get my hands on one. to see one brought back to life by two guys that share a love for them as well is very satisfying and again, makes me happy. to the final owner....enjoy this beauty. shes worth it.

I love the way these guys make me feel like I can fix anything. I started out watching the Lamborghini Gallardo better build. After watching him pull the engine 3 or so times. I think Freddy could do anything. Awesome car and White is the best color. Always wanted a white Supra. I hope someone who deserves it gets it.

Idk why but when I saw him enjoy hearing and shifting the gears brings and puts joy Nd smile on my face. Have always loved the Mark4 Supra. May biggest dream to get one One day. Will buy few things to enter for it to chance to win it but for who ever wins it hope that person truly enjoys it as much as other people love the sound of that engine and the care that went into it.
Looks so clean, love it! Remember when it was brought into the shop in rough physical shape, now it is better than new. Always had a soft spot for this gen Supra (before Fast and Furious).

@tavarish very nice! Just wanted to say I've been following this build, a supra has always been my #1 dream car. Crazy thing is, they way you made it is the same way I would've wanted mine to be. But one thing I enjoyed about this is, it's not just another build video where someone pours an absurd amount of money worth of parts into a supra to make 1000 hp. This was more of a mildly conservative build/rebuild, where it does have a decent amount of power, but a car that is still able to be a comfortable daily driver. Something to enjoy driving in any circumstance, whether it's just a Sunday drive, or taking to the track to have a little fun. Personally, I am in the middle of restoring a 1983 280zx turbo, only because i like the 240z, but the 280zx was more in my very small budget. Love your videos anyway man, keep it up!

These motors are unreal. Never knew enough about turbos or the 2jz. Just catching up on the wrench everyday build with the 300zx 2jz conversion, would be awesome to know how to do this kind of work.. Obsessed now
