Man you probably won't believe this but my n52 died yesterday too, literally got oil change, later that day SES light came on, engine started acting up rpm bounce and car started stalling when idling, I replaced vanos solenoids and cleared the codes, engine was good for whole next day and again light came on engine stalled and won't turn over anymore, I poped the hood a little bit of smoke came out and smelled like strong plastic, tried cranking the engine by hand and it was already seized 😔
I'm 49 and on my 9th BMW. I've owned just about every 3 series starting with the E30. Now I've moved to the 5, X5. Keep it up. Look forward to seeing more.
