Yeah dude lol the deep resonance only carries on the inside, but you can hear the gear whine on the outside. Night and day difference even running just poly mounts on the transmission.

From 128i to 228i the main thing I miss is the sound, the way the n52 just rumbles at idle. Needed the awd though and the 128i already had the upgraded disa valves and intake so realistically I had got the most out of it already.
I am currently doing a swap Aswell , old motor is out just need to put it back in , but my question is if I can use the old bolts to transmission, some of them are aluminum and I’m not sure
Definitely, the external pcv is a disaster. It's also just what my parts supplier had. Since this video, I have converted to a metal valve cover that still has the pcv built on. There will be a video about it pretty soon. 👍🏻👍🏻
Had my E90 330i with the N52 for the past 7 years......time to move on and i just got myself a 2013 Lexus GS350 last week. Expect to save 50% on maintenance.

did you swap the plastic valve cover to remove the psv system and one use aluminum valve cover bolts?? also surprised you went with solid motor mounts
