When I get around to doing mine I’m going to keep my resonators and just do a muffler delete, sounds sooo much better in my opinion
Low rev sounds good. High rev sounds like a tuned 350z or 370z

I have my mustang gt with roush exhaust but I have a dodge challenger v6 and I just deleted my rear mufflers which made it sound close to a v 8 , I did not cut my mid resonator off because of I did it would be bubble bee cherry bomber screaming and just sound awful lol! That’s my opinion though! Awesome channel though bro! Hope it keeps growing for ya

Except you can buy all those parts and put them on any model challenger...the only real way to know is to pop the hood and even then mfs do motor swaps all the time🤦🏽♂️

@@ThomasandGuns my car isn’t a hellcat, but I removed the fog lights and added a full body kit, which now looks like a hellcat . Honestly the best I think, is to look under the hood . You can fake it as much as you can or want, including the exhaust, wheels, body kits, but no one can copy the engine and mechanics under the hood

Hey bro. What did y’all exactly do to the challenger? My dad has an sxt plus and has some flowmaster super 10’s with a res delete, but he wants it deeper. I suggested a 3” straight pipe exhaust with cats on(although it would sound awesome with no cats). What do you suggest to get the best sound with the best volume?
It’s a v6, can’t really make it sound deep

Hellcat decals on a 6😂 not hating but I don't understand why people do that.. that is one of the worse things you can do to your car. That just makes you look stupid. I have a 5.7 and I'm proud of what I got.
5.7 is as slow as a v6 I’ve seen v6 challenger gap 5.7 challenger but mostly chargers from a dig

Save your money and get a scat or base model r/t. Not worth it down the line in my opinion. Trade in your sxt and put that 6-7k for the supercharger plus labor and walk out with a small loan or the r/t you wanted

Straight piped sxt v6 👍 for its model and engine
take the plastic engine cover off, put a 4x4 hole in the bottom half of the air box right behind the blinker and the pop the black cap out of the center of the blinker and now you have ram air to the air box. sounds meaner than any aftermarket cold air system.

it sounds real nice maybe get rid of the hellcat decal but very nice deep sound n would that have any negative affect on the car maybe a slight loss of hp
3.5 v6 sounds better than the 3.6 with straight pipe and cats
Yeah these newer high compression v6s with variable valve timing are so high pitched the older v6s actually sound nicer just not as powerful.
3.6 has built in exhaust heads to one port but still sounds good with resonator delete or Borla Atak
As a challenger owner, we do not support this..........

Can you still straight pipe with a muffler. I just got a new one but I keep seeing “ muffler delete resonator delete”.
When you straight pipe a car’s exhaust system you replace your rear muffler with a piece of pipe and any resonators (which are like tiny mufflers) with a piece of pipe. Soupy cannot have a straight piped car with a muffler (because you remove the muffler).

I had a buddy who has a charger v8 and we both go neck and neck with the exhaust and im telling you it’s roughly the same, but you can hear a lil bit of raspy-ness from the v6 but IMO are equal

Not everyone wants the v8. Not everyone can afford the v8. Plus you get more car for your money. And the v6 with 305 hp and about 260 hp rear wheels is faster than any old muscle car from the 70s 80s and most of the 90s. Plus the hemi has a horrible tick.
