I saw John and his band playing in a pub in South London a year or two back. Very talented musicians, liked the way they put their own "spin" on these classic songs. Well worth going to see them if they tour again.
Great, so good to listen to, real nice bluesy, an' Great Playing From the Band, an' just LOVE the way it just subtly Grew, and you've got 2 Awesome Guitarists there, THAT was Fantastic how they Complimented each other, well done, AND nice Vocals too, thanks for the video. Loved it !!! 😮😮😊😊
Pessoal....e um absurdo, quase 60 mil visualização e não ter nem mil (1.000) curtidas. Pessoal...senta o dedo no Jóia AE, vamos valorizar o trabalho dos outros. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Not quite Mark Knopfler but great playing nevertheless..John Illsley does a very good job recreating all these Dire Straits classics..he was the original band member so comes very close..
The guy on stage left with the Stratocaster is the great Robbie McIntosh, who was in The Pretenders in the '80s ("Middle of the Road") and then played with some guy named Sir Paul McCartney for a few years. These days he pops up with Nora Jones and John Mayer among others. The guy on stage right with the James Trussart steel guitar is Paul Stacey, who's played with the Black Crowes/Chris Robinson and Oasis.
What´s wrong with MacIntosh at the end of the song?? He doesn´t just let his pal to play that fantastic solo, it´s like if he didn´t want to be eclipsed by others.
Spot on. Its why John pulled the plug and wrapped it up. Was sounding brilliant until that part. They are both great guitar players was just read wrong and someone wanted the last say. Other than that a brilliant song
I don't know how many times I watched this performance. It helps living! No doubt!
A big thank for John Illsley.

This is a good example of how a song is disrespected and then killed and yet people here are complimenting the musicians. Go figure!
Жалкое зрелище
Such a weak voice.
