And this is why I’m a huge fan of FQS….another free pattern, great video tutorial, and always encouraged to use my stash….except the fabrics you use are so beautiful I have to add them to my stash first! Thank you Kimberly and crew. ❤
Kimberly, This is one time I wish I could afford to buy all the fabrics you chose for this beautiful quilt. I think making this scrappy would make it too busy. Thanks for the tutorial and free pattern.
Love it! Thanks so much FQS for providing a free pattern , and a video bonus! The French General fabrics are gorgeous and this design really shows it off.
Ooh, so cute and looks fairly easy! 🙌🏼 gotta add this one to my list. Now that I’m a little more experienced w quilting, I really appreciate these videos that do not show all the details of cutting, pinning, and sewing. Thank you for offering the variety that you do on this channel. ❤
I love this quilt! I just want to snuggle under it and read a good book. Thanks so much Kimberly and FQS team for another beautiful quilt! You all are amazing! That's why you are my number 1 TH-cam channel! I look forward to every episode and livestream!
Thank You so much for this free pattern. I appreciate your generosity. I have a niece that I need to make a HS graduation quilt for and I just found the pattern. Now to find the perfect fabric for her.
Love this pattern so, so much! Don't know how many projects I've got on the go at the moment, but guess what? They're all going in my cupboard now until I've sourced the fabric and then I'm gonna get sewing! Thank you so much for doing the video. Appreciation for everyone who was involved. 💋💋
Ooohhh, I absolutely love this quilt. It is gorgeous and those French general fabrics really set it off. Dang I have another quilt to add to my list, I am going to have to sew faster to get them all in. 😂😂 Great job, FQS! Kimberly, you hit it out of the park with this one!
You guys at FQS are so good at giving us free patterns! Thanks! I will be buying the kit! As much for the beautiful French General fabrics as for the pattern. To all at FQS..,great job!
I just received 2 books from your sale and love them but many of the cutting sizes are in eights because of triangles. I'll have to figure out cut sizes on my own and square up the triangles. But in the mean time this quilt will be so easy and fun. Thanks for the beautiful quilt pattern.
Hi Kimberly! First off, I love your videos, tutorials, and just “life with Kimberly.” I do have a question … when you or Cheryl stitch on higher count fabrics, do you use magnification? If so, can you tell me which kinds you like?
Hello Dianne! Kimberly uses a Halo Go when she's away from home www.fatquartershop.com/halo-go-rechargeable-table-magnifier-daylight-company. At home she uses this www.fatquartershop.com/omega-3-5-magnifier-daylight-company You can find out more about magnification in this livestream th-cam.com/users/live-OsoAY9KM_k?si=-fALWfhuRfe_LGJA
Do you have that much extra on the ends of each strip set? If so why make so many? Or is it just the one left over that has the extra? Lovely quilt, thanks for sharing and a free pattern!
This is a beautiful quilt Thank You for the wonderful free pattern! I'm having a hard time locating the same fabric's you are using, I'm new to your awesome channel so do you sell the fabric in your Fat Quarter Shop or have quilt kits for sale? Any help is very appreciated. Have a Blessed day, Debbie in Weatherford, TX
Love this pattern .. .the quilt is beautiful. I would rather not use blue in my quilts. Are the fabric requirements anywhere so that we could possibly buy a different French General bundle?
Hello Michelle! We have the Nine Patch Trails Quilt Pattern (PDF) - bit.ly/4aVQyq6 that lists the fabric requirements so you can use any fabric that you like.
Would it be possible to suggest another fabric line for this quilt? I am not sure how to chose and would like to make it in brighter colors with maybe a white background. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Deb! We have the Nine Patch Trails Quilt Pattern (PDF) - bit.ly/4aVQyq6 that lists the fabric requirements so you can use any fabric that you like by any designer.
Okay, I’ve asked this before but I haven’t seen the primitive gatherings 1/4 foot for the Juki. So, what is the difference between the primitive gatherings 1/4 foot and the Juki 1/4 foot? Because I do remember you saying you stopped using the Juki foot.
Hello Luray! Low volume fabrics can be described as basically subtle white, cream, neutral or pale coloured print fabrics often with a delicate self-coloured pattern or subtle design and they are selected to offset the much brighter palette of colours available in many fabric lines.
And this is why I’m a huge fan of FQS….another free pattern, great video tutorial, and always encouraged to use my stash….except the fabrics you use are so beautiful I have to add them to my stash first! Thank you Kimberly and crew. ❤

Do you have that much extra on the ends of each strip set? If so why make so many? Or is it just the one left over that has the extra? Lovely quilt, thanks for sharing and a free pattern!
Hello Katy! Yes, but you can use the leftover pieces elsewhere.

Do you think this quilt pattern would work well with the new Strawberry Lemonade fabric?
Hello Tina! Yes, that would look great.
Okay, I’ve asked this before but I haven’t seen the primitive gatherings 1/4 foot for the Juki. So, what is the difference between the primitive gatherings 1/4 foot and the Juki 1/4 foot? Because I do remember you saying you stopped using the Juki foot.
Hello Mayra! The primitive gatherings foot has a guide on it that the juki foot does not.
When do you expect kit to be available
Hello Linda! We expect it to be available this month.
@@FatQuarterShopTX can I preorder?
No, but you can sign-up to be notified here bit.ly/48ByQqh

What is meant by low volume.

@fatquartershop why cut the strips so long If you're not going to use a big chunk of them?? Seems wasteful to me
Hello Jamie! You can use them for a different part of the quilt.
Lovely quilt, thankyou❤
