I have a 3 cd collection called Bob Dylan 1970. I don't know if you have it or not, but it's got about 12 tracks with George playing electric guitar and Dylan singing. It's mostly outtakes from Dylan's albums New Morning and Self Portrait. Just thought I would let you know in case you hadn't heard it or would be interested in it. Take Care.

Listen to George doing an acoustic demo of Dylan's unreleased song from 1970 called I Don't Want To Do It. I think it was going to be included on George's All Things Must Pass album, but he went for If Not For You.
There's an electric version that George recorded in 1986 but wasn't released until 2009 on George's Compilation Let It Roll: Songs of George Harrison. The acoustic demo is much better in my opinion.

Wow, hadn’t known he did this song. The Jeff Buckley version has been a frequent play since my breakup a couple months ago. Even though the song makes me sad, there’s something comforting knowing that even legends like Dylan and Harrison experienced the same feelings of loss, grief, and heartache as me.

The lyrics he sings here are not the same as the original lyrics that you can find on the interwebs, so here they are, to the best of my ability to transcribe (suggestions/corrections welcome):
Perhaps it's the color of the sun-cut flat uncovering
    The crossroads I'm standing on
Or maybe it's the weather or somethin' like that
Mama you're just on my mind
I am not askin' you to say words like yes or no,
    Please understand me
I'm not callin' for you to go
I'm just thinking to myself, pretending not that I don't know
Mama you're just on my mind
When you wake up in the morning,
    Baby, look inside your mirror
    I'll be with you
I'm not calling for you to go

For people who wonder if George can play guitar, he is playing this perfectly and beautifully. I wonder if John and Paul were transported 10 years prior when they were all huddled on the top of a double decker bus at midnight hearing George play Raunchy perfectly to audition for lead guitar in (at that time) The Quarrymen. I know I was.

This is very pretty. But it seems she had reason. The role of saintly, enlightened soul he created for himself may have been just a myth really, or at best something he was no doubt sincerely working towards. He so often comes across as bitter, self-absorbed and just plain grouchy. Sad, considering his talent and opportunities. A little prozac might have helped, who knows.
