I'm 56 with dry skin and this product works well for me. I make sure my skin is really hydrated. I apply it with a very dense brush and then go over it lightly with a sponge, light coverage that looks very natural.
Please do keep us posted. I’ve been so curious about this product since it launched. At first I thought it had an ingredient that I’m allergic to, but once I got more information from my allergist, it turns out I should be fine with it. But I don’t really want to spend that much without hearing more from people who keep using it and try to solve any issues they have with it.
I absolutely love this product! I love that I don't feel it on my skin, but I did have to use it a couple of times before I got the formula Now I want to try the Chanel!
This has been one of THEE most helpful and informative makeup review videos I've seen, like EVER. Love this straightforward format and being willing to share the whole application with your viewers!
I feel it’s too expensive for drugstore 😮. Sometimes I wait and other companies try their version of these newer products. I think it looks good but waiting for less expensive options. Thanks for sharing
I really wanted to like this product, but it looked terrible on my skin. I have oily, but dehydrated skin so I thought the water content would be a great benefit. It looked really good for a minute or two, then it just looked flaky, dry and honestly horrible. Never had a tint or foundation look so bad on me. I can't figure out why, but I think you're right. It must be the retinol type ingredient.
I am excited to get this. I haven't seen it in my local Walgreens. $20 is a good price for a Bakuchiol serum. It will be a good daily treatment giving a little coverage and treat my millia. If I don't like it as a skin tint I will use it as a primer. That is value for me.
I have and love the Chanel Les Beiges water tint. I find that it works best if my skin is super hydrated before applying. I don’t know if it has any of the treatment properties of this skin tint. I am curious if this is perhaps a superior product. Thank you for this review
I've used this product 10+ times, and found that the base under it makes the difference between a beautiful skin-like finish, or a streaky patch mess. While I've figured out how to make it work, at these prices I feel like I shouldn't have to.
Here in Costa Rica the same product costs almost double that price!!! Here we don't earn in dollars!! So enjoy those low prices in your country!! Greetings!
This is a good alternative for the channel version but for the retinol alternative well just any other skin caste is a alternative in the same way so I don’t think it has to do with the nose thing and the price is slightly high Imo
I have the same issues with the nose, forehead and chin area doing that! Have you found a foundation that doesn't cause that? I want to wear makeup and feel good about it. I'm sick of wasting money on things that don't work for me. I just ordered this foundation you're reviewing and now I'm bummed and will probably return it when it arrives.
I have never found a product that doesn’t do that. It’s the nature of wearing makeup. The only thing that will work for any skin tint or foundation is to set with powder and retouch through out the day. I have the Chanel version of this and love it because it’s so natural looking. I have oily dehydrated skin so I know I have to set with powder with any liquid or cream products. The exception is when I use a powder foundation like the MUFE HD Skin powder foundation (which I love) or the Bare Minerals loose powder foundation (which I’ve rediscovered after using in the 90s to early 2000s). I always bring them with me to touch up or at least bring a translucent pressed powder. I’ve been tempted to try this Covergirl version but now that I know it has a retinol alternative, I won’t get it. I already use a retinol so I don’t need more because that will just increase flaky skin for me 😮
I feel like CG has been slowly bumping up their prices in the past couple of years. Those pressed face powders are around $15 depending on where you buy them and those lip glosses and mini eyeshadow palettes were priced surprisingly high. They need to take some tips from Essence.
I wanted to like this product, so I tried over and over to get it to work for me, but finally I had to admit that it hooks pretty awful on my dry skin. 😞
Why does mine smell like paint thinner? I got it on sale from Amazon and it stinks so bad! Is that normal? If you said so in your video, sorry I guess I missed it.
You know I forgot which influencer TH-camr. I never know what is the proper name, anyway she said covergirl goes down in price if you wait a while. Sure enough it’s now $15.99 in many places like amazon for one.
I know you think pastels don't really suit you, but I think this look is absolutely beautiful on you. And your skin looks great too!
I very much appreciate your real skin close ups and lighting!

I think it’s so helpful how you zoom in on your skin! You did a great job with this review!!

Honestly? Same. I'm also waiting for a more affordable version of the jelly water blushes. 😂
Happy Valentines, I have been using Bakuchiol oil with my Retinol for over a year maybe two. Its a great a great companion and my skin just loves it.

Thank you for your thorough, informative, and fair review! This *is* what we are here for.

I found this product at my local Target for $15.99. I’ll be getting it there when I run out of my current bottle. I have really enjoyed this.
I just bought this product and I LOVE it. I have dry skin but this is amazing.

Am I guilty of watching this AFTER I already bought this product? Yes. yes I am. Did I watch beginning to end regardless? Also yes.

Same with me. Tried a ton and never looks good on me.
Awesome
The Cover Girl makeup looks great. Your whole look is beautiful ❤️ I am not getting all your videos and I am subscribed.❓❓
7:36 I'd call it my skin's character 😄
I just paid $18.37 for the CG Simply Ageless Foundation on Amazon.
I found this picked up my sunscreen whenever I applied it. Maybe because it’s a watery consistency. Did anyone experience this?
Why does mine smell like paint thinner? I got it on sale from Amazon and it stinks so bad! Is that normal? If you said so in your video, sorry I guess I missed it.
I just paid $15.99 at Target, but the coloring is way off. Light Medium is practically white.

This product did not work for me at all. It pilled, streaked. No matter the amount of hydration or application method
I'm intrigued, but there's no way I'm spending $21 on this.
I don't like the foundation, not worth the hype at all .
I got it at H-E-B here in Texas for 15 dollars and some change. 21 is crazy
