This was my DAILY foundation for years as a teen and I was so happy to see they launched an updated version that is fragrance free, in a squeeze tube, and with a comes in better shade range. I've been wearing this off & on since 1993 17 in highschool 😆 I'll miss that Noxema scent
It’s still so great! I won’t miss that scent though 🤪
This was my first foundation as a teenager in the mid 1970's! Have worn the sensitive skin version over the years before it was discontinued, so am anxious to try this version! I think this would look good on a variety of skin types. I prefer a light coverage and fragrance free, of course. I still wear the Professional Mascara in the blue tube, that also came out in the 1970's.

I love a wear test video. What a reasonable price point and great shade match! I'll try this as soon as I finish one of my lighter coverage foundations (seems to be all the rage and pretty much all i have these days 😂).

Covergirl was my go-to foundation all throughout high school and into my early 20s. I'm very excited to try this! 110 Classic Ivory is my perfect match, which is surprisingly hard to find in other brands.

I still prefer the original foundation and powder with the Noxema scent that I love. Just bought them on eBay.

I hope this foundation works out well for me as well I, too wore CG a billion years ago ahhh the memories of a simpler time 😂 Fingers crossed no acne/blemishes arise haha. It's very beautiful on your btw. I also VERY much appreciate you not applying highlighter so that yes we can see the true finish of the base very smart of you.

It would be interesting to compare the old and new side by side! It does seem very similar from my memory of the OG
I'm excited to try this as soon as it shows up at my local Walmart! I have a bit of an oily t-zone so I may not experience the same level of dryness you were referring to, but I may end up a bit more shiny by the end of the day without a touchup.
I also wanted to say thank you for your latest decluttering video where you were super honest with yourself and cutthroat. It inspired me to declutter my entire makeup collection. I was able to declutter 40 items! I feel lighter and am excited to make better use of the products I chose to keep!!
Yes! Just pair it with a mattifying SPF or primer and I think it should work well on you!

I ordered this on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I dudn't realize atvthe time they don't have a powder or concealer in the same color as the foundation. I loved the look of the original, but the fragrance (tea tree maybe?) aggravated my dermatitis. I love this new formula! It looks just as good as the original!

I think so but the new version is really good!
The product didn't provide much coverage. The original formula yielded the best results when applied with fingertips, and it seems this method might also enhance the coverage of this version. It appears that the sponge is absorbing the foundation, thereby removing it from the skin.
Ooh good tip! Usually brushes don’t give me the problem of soaking up foundation but I haven’t tried applying with my fingers yet. Will give that a try next!
It does look nice, I just prefer more medium coverage and get oily in my tzone, so that wouldn't work for me.

Covergirl might redeem myself for me. Still can't believe the perfect or essence was $22.
Me neither! Way too expensive. Interestingly, I feel like the essence put covergirl back on the map and this foundation relaunch is getting more hype than it otherwise would have because of it.
