Bret, is there any significant difference when doing one side first on unilateral exercises, or doing left/right/rest? Which approach is better? Thank you ❤
I'm so happy you're showing this exercise. IV been using this purely as a physio/warm up (without the weight) movement due to having really weak inactive glutes medius after being bed rest for a month. IV really noticed the difference with the muscle firing up in my workouts. Do not underestimate this move. Really fires up the medius even for me who seemingly has glute amnesia and lost all my muscle mass after an operation. I was thinking to add weights using dumbell in one hand but this looks alot better. Looking forward to adding an ankle weight to the movement to see if it actually helps growing my medius back up. Thanks!
Would you please show this again but have the ‘model’ in light colored bottoms? It is difficult to make out the slight movements when there is such a high shadowing effect because of the black leggings. Thanks.
Wow!!😂 ive been doing a Glute workout since the late 70's, with a dance 💃 in my neighborhood called "The Loose Booty" 😂, you would lift and hike your hip and walk it while your shoulder rock!..
With all due respect as a certified peronal trainer never touch a client especially in areas discussed here ... I don't care how much experience a trainer has . no need to touch
And with all due respect to you sir, this man is not being disrespectful in any way by demonstrating literally the context of this video (gluteal muscles.) Get a grip. 🙄
For alot of people the physical touch is important for developing good mind muscle connection. Having a professional help you grab the correct feeling is integral to alot of people's recovery including myself. My scapula moved a slightly different angles and timing and no matter how much I focused they felt perfectly balanced until my PT grabbed ahold of my shoulder blade and assisted it's rotation, felt so weird at first given that I was so used to the improper mechanics. Integral and I'm glad he touched me. Permission and professionalism is key but there is nothing wrong with it.
The model is wearing black leggings and the background is all black so in this context it was quite useful for Bret to use his hands to emphasize the movement. Otherwise I the viewer would have no idea how to replicate this movement.
@@melaniedrew1097is the gluteus medius that stupid dip in my hip? And…Im chunky and just started working out again, but I noticed this dip on the top part of my ass🙄 Im wondering what to do to “round it out” lol

Say you have no clue about ethics without saying…
Great insights. Far too much handling of women.
surprised he didnt slap the fucking woman in the ass
As long as he got her consent first that's all that matters. It's her body, it's her choice, not yours.

As long as the client is comfortable and is consenting, and I really don’t understand what the problem is.
Chill David..
I h8 my glutes medius (love handles) that fat look so weird 💀
Love handles are not part of the glutes.
