This practice is all about opening your heart, one wheel practice at a time. One of the best ways to to do that is through backbends. Rolling on the Dharma Yoga Wheel™ will create space in the spine and release any muscular tension. It will help you gain flexibility and develop mobility safely & efficiently.
In this practice, Raquel, co-founder and co-creator of the wheel, begins with a dharma talk about love, the heart chakra, and how vulnerability leads to strength. The practice that follows is a series of backbending asanas that include standing variations, camel, and wheel. Four variations will be highlighted along the way to help you use the wheel as a tool to open your heart . Get ready to feel the loving energy that you will build and release!
Love these wheel workouts, thank you! And omg, my cat started licking my foot and then climbed INSIDE of the wheel for the last most intense backbend! It took a lot of concentration and focus not to get distracted lol! I think she likes these workouts too ;)
