      Years ago I had a set of cam gears installed and dyno tuned on my stock cammed H22A Prelude. Engine mods were only CAI and a catback exhaust. Whp went from 160 to a whopping 162.

    Not bad 4or5 hp just from adjusting cams from 197 to 213

    Whoa bro! that valve cover was not the same valve cover that was on the car originally.... so uh fake news! lol nice job man vid came out great!

      Haha yeah I had to swap it for a cut valve cover that allowed access to the cam gears for adjustment. Magic tricks!

      So the first dyno was from right after the engine build and was in its break-in period. Its been a few thousand miles now and its nice and broken in, so that added a couple ponies in itself. I also swapped from 550cc Evo IX injectors to new Grams Performance Injectors, in addition to getting the cam gears adjusted. I think most of the power came from post-break in and retune though. Plus, Erick said he had a few new tricks to make better power on this setup that he employed.

    What degree are the cams set at?

      Hey Mike! I will have to check for you. It's hard to tell with the current valve cover setup. However, note that your tuner will have to make adjustments during tuning to get the most power and there's no set number to gain performance.
      Other issues to factor in are engine quench, which can be very problematic for degreeing cams if your engine is running very high compression pistons. Usually its a good idea to clay the compression chamber to see exact clearances.

    You need to itb + cam have more time to opening the valves and very good reprog ecu and more advance ignition timing and you get extremely hp of you engine
