I sense the closeness to the rapture, end times. The signs are everyplace. Feels like the perfect storm is here. Russia starting some wars, Ukraine and threatening Israel. A hook in it's jaw, the 🐻 bear is being drawn to the Golem Heights. We're on the cusp of something big. Damascus soon will lay in ruins. The fig tree 🌴 is 73. Believe Pope Francis could be the False prophet and Macron the antichrist they seem good friends. The watchmen cover everything. Watch watchman on the wall, Barry Scarborough, gen 2434, Tim Henderson etc. Macron reminds me of Carpathia. They look similar. He has a piercing face. We 🕊️ fly soon. The bride is ready. Come Jesus
Amen! Recently technically that I believe is a precursor to the mark of the beast and the chip came out. God is preparing the world of these things which are to come. It is already becoming mandatory in multiple countries.
I consider myself fair minded. Can you tell me where you see a likeness between the news and these books? When did the Russian Military attack Israel and have all but a fifth destroyed by God's hand? When did millions of people suddenly vanish? When did a one world currency and a one world government start? Is there a captivating leader that has stepped up and taken control of the entire world? How did I miss that? :D Seriously, NOTHING about these books is taking place today and I'd like to caution you against taking too much from a book series labeled as "Christian fiction".

What we are talking about is the last days. What your describing is the tribulation time. We are watching the things Jesus said would happen that lead up to those things. Israel brought back to the promised land 1948- morality upside down- disease- wars and rumors of wars- economic chaos. So on so on. Fictional movies can only give you an idea of what things can be like but if you study the last days- not just the tribulation you see it.

This is an awesome series. Great to lie down and just listen to. Very fast-paced, lots of action, prophecy in play, and a great message as well. Recommend very highly. The acting is superb and sound effects.
Even though this is fictional it truly seems like what we’re living in now. For over 2,000 years people have been anticipating the end of times. We need to read the Living Bible and pray and apply it to our daily lives, that through the mercy and Grace of Jesus Christ we are saved through our confession and acceptance today not our own works!

I have really enjoyed the whole series. I am listening to them for the third time as I love the way it is presented. I do not watch television and this reminds me of being a child and listening to stories play out on radio . I like that it let's my imagination to become my personal movie screen. One of the sad truths about Christian works is that so often the production budget they have for shows, films and cartoons are often limited. But this! If this had a huge budget, it could make for an amazing live action series! I mean listen to the parts where Carpathia was trying to get Buck and Rayford to work for him. It truly sounds like the Devil himself tempting Jesus in the Wilderness, offering them their hearts desire if they'd just work for him.
I absolutely 💯 love this only thing wrong with it is Jehovah is a Greek word not only that but they never use His full name they call him Adonai YAH or the Most High but none the less love it thank you brother for sharing this
I've thought of that. They should even include the three prequels, though The Rapture and Left Behind could probably be combined into one season. Then what about those who haven't read the books or those who have only read the 12 original series and not the three prequels and the sequel? How would they be able to market the three prequels as the first two or three seasons? Would they say, "Hey, you remember Nicolae Carpathia's rise to world power, right? Well, you're going to get an origin story."
This is about to 10th time I’ve listened to these enlightening and entertaining books. Chloe remains the most scenery eating actresses I’ve ever heard. I wonder how the actors felt as they had to respond to her readings😂 She’s so over the top with that character.
Coming back two years later to say...prophecy is coming true left and right. Iran launching attacks now, Israel may sacrifice the red heifer and cleanse the temple mount which would restore it (big prophetic fulfillment if they do.) Global war, earthquakes, famine, floods and disease rampant across the world. Perhaps not to the biblical proportions but something is building.
Until the 4th book I was always annoyed with Chloe. She is young and immature and the writing and voice actor did a good job portraying that immaturity.
There are times when I can tolerate Chloe, and other times when she IS *INSUFFERABLE* ! Hattie... for me, she was just ...ditzy. She didn't think about the consequences of a lot of the things she did. Other times, she seemed to have an agenda, but then, she was being puppeteered by Carpathia.
I know someone mentioned Chloe becoming easier to listen to later in the series, this is my second time listening & I sure don't remember any improvement before and, once again, she is so annoying I literally have to stop what I'm doing to forward through all of her scenes. I was hoping I was just too harsh as the quality otherwise is fantastic. Alas, no, if anything, it's worse than I even remember. It is that bad, IMHO. Geez. Otherwise, thanks so much again for this great series Jeff. Obviously I love it enough to listen a second time, even if I do have to miss all of Chloe's scenes just to maintain my sanity.
Does anyone know where I can get this dramatized series on audio CDs affordably? I have a student who loves to listen to it, but she isn’t allowed to have a phone or tablet to listen at home. She’s reading the books, but she LOVES this audio drama version. We listen to it in the car but once a week for 20 mins at a time will take forever!
In all honesty, there’s probably some software you could use to download the audio from this very TH-cam video and then you could burn it onto a cd. I wouldn’t know the names but a quick google search could help. :)
Okay, I'm just gonna say that I love this series so far. However, I don't like how everyone just forgets about Caroline Miller. For gosh sakes, she got kidnapped and killed and nobody cares or remembers! However, I take solace in the fact she kind of "lives on" through Leah's voice later.
I agree. I think she should've deserved to have lived a little bit longer for the rest of the book or at least should've gotten Eric's files to Buck before she died.

She has a suitcase containing some clothes, essentials and Eric's files, and, after Buck learns that she was briefly kidnapped while trying to call him; hence the phone message. She flies with him back to Chicago and he temporarily houses her in his apartment while they parse through Eric's files. They realize that he was researching the disappearances and Carpathia's connection to Stonagal. He was killed before making the connection. Bucks tells her the reason behind the disappearances and that Carpathia was connected to Stonagal. He attempts to lead her to christ, but she is reluctant, given that Eric wasn't a christian before his death. Despite this, Buck lets her stay with him until she's safe and can be on her own. She dies in the wrath of the lamb earthquake, but before her death, she sends Buck a message that says she believed him and became a Christian. She is later seen among those in the glorious appearing. What do you think?
While I enjoy this personally if I was buck and met Chloe and had the issue they had I'd probably go find someone else. I just can't stand women who don't even get to the point and waste hours pretending he can read her mind. Even if she was Christian. I just find the whole I'm not telling you straight up read my mind stuff a huge turn off.
One thing I don’t understand is that dr Zion Ben Judah is married with 2 step children. Jewish law would have dictated that he married his brother’s widow and take over the family but he would have also had to have children to continue his brother’s bloodline. So why didn’t they have another baby?
Chloe voice and character is beyond irritating… makes is a challenge to endure. And I thought Vickey character from the children’s version was annoying. Chloe wins.

Vicky was almost as bad with the over the top "Like totally! OMG!" Valley Girl portrayal of her character but Chloe wins hands down. It seems there are many that feel this way so I do wonder why the producer or director didn't bat an eye at this horrible rendition of a beloved character. Just awful.
Ya know, while Chloe can drive me buggy, the actress who played her did a great job! She 'sold' Chloe's annoying traits and well as her more tolerable moments.

If you want your "Chloe" be her "Buck". It's NOT about finding her, you'll find each other if you're both seeking Jesus First. (Matthew 6:33). Everyone has their "List" of what they're looking for in a spouse. But are YOU what they are looking for? It would be so devastating to have your "Chloe" walk right by you because she's looking for a Man of God with character: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness. (Galatians 5:22-23) If you're one side of a Triangle and your "Chloe" is across from you on the other side and Jesus is at the top, the closer you draw to Him, the closer you are to each other! I'm saying a prayer for you now. I've been with my husband 38 years. And the"Triangle" is THE Key to our flourishing marriage. If we get bumpy, one of us has drifted. We go back to First: Seek. Jesus. First. Works EVERY time!
I think I said this before and I mean this in the best way. But I think when Chloe started to apologize. I think that buck should have backhanded her. And set the tone that this will never happen again. That we only have 7 years at the most and that he's not going to put up with it I think somewhere in Daniel that scripture backs up this move. I'm just saying. Then I would teach her how to cook and clean and if she was so concerned about Alice I would have her be the one to go pick up my equipment and all the things at the office and take them back to my condo. And she would learn real quick when Buck said move she would move and her dad had any kind of character about him he would back up buck.

It comes from a Protestant perspective so it’s going to inherently view some aspects of Catholicism as extraneous. That said, it goes out of its way to have a plot point where the pope gets Raptured, so the series definitely doesn’t think Catholicism disqualifies someone from salvation.

When I read the novels I really like Chloe but listening to this makes me want to change my mind.
There are occasions where she's tolerable, but other times when i want to wring her neck.

Chloe voice and character is beyond irritating… makes is a challenge to endure. And I thought Vickey character from the children’s version was annoying. Chloe wins.

@@hannahpierson6352 Where, when??? I guess it's subjective but this is my second time listening to the series and she is so annoying I have to fast forward through all of her scenes. Vicky was almost as bad with the over the top "Like totally! OMG!" Valley Girl portrayal of her character but Chloe wins hands down. It seems there are many that feel this way so I do wonder why the producer or director didn't bat an eye at this horrible rendition of a beloved character. Just awful.
Ya know, while Chloe can drive me buggy, the actress who played her did a great job! She 'sold' Chloe's annoying traits and well as her more tolerable moments.
Her voice is a very notable one. I have to admit her and Rayford's chemistry is undeniable. I really see them as Father/Daughter. Great casting for both of them

I think I said this before and I mean this in the best way. But I think when Chloe started to apologize. I think that buck should have backhanded her. And set the tone that this will never happen again. That we only have 7 years at the most and that he's not going to put up with it I think somewhere in Daniel that scripture backs up this move. I'm just saying. Then I would teach her how to cook and clean and if she was so concerned about Alice I would have her be the one to go pick up my equipment and all the things at the office and take them back to my condo. And she would learn real quick when Buck said move she would move and her dad had any kind of character about him he would back up buck.

It's a dramatic AUDIO. Like radio dramas. In fact, these audio dramas are WAY better than the movies. Especially the Nicolas Cage take.
It's not a movie. It's the dramatized audio edition of the book.
There's only voice acting. There's no movement on screen of the actors so-to-speak.

I do wish they could do this series justice with a good movie or TV series. Unfortunately Christian screen writing and acting is B at best. I try very hard to forget the Nick Cage adaptation...horrifying.

Series is great but it is very much anti catholic which is very much wrong.
It comes from a Protestant perspective so it’s going to inherently view some aspects of Catholicism as extraneous. That said, it goes out of its way to have a plot point where the pope gets Raptured, so the series definitely doesn’t think Catholicism disqualifies someone from salvation.
