- Tom Canboro is a police detective with a Christian sister, Eileen; a brother, Calvin; a wife, Susan; and an eccentric brother-in-law, Jason. One night, Jason seemingly goes insane and tries to kill Eileen, calling her a "hater". Tom realizes this may be a conspiracy going as far as devil worship, but as he speeds in his car to get help, he suddenly loses control and crashes. Waking up in a strange hospital, he finds that years have passed and people all over the world are wearing the mark of 666 on their right hands, and all those who don't are being killed off. Franco Macalousso, the believer in world peace of whom Jason was fond of, now controls the world and is trying to unite it as it was at the Tower of Babel. Meanwhile, the "Haters," or Christians, are hiding out and airing TBN tapes on the air for people to realize that the Messiah is really the Antichrist, but their leader, Helen Hannah, is arrested.

I believe I seen this as a kid. Also at that time, our pastor broke my grandmother's heart by stealing from the church for personal gain and other lies instead of building a new church as promised and I've seen all the false healers people send money to so I've always struggled to trust any one domain or church. These powerful movies however, have always been an inspiration to me and must see. 25 years ago, VR goggles were a laugh, but today, this movie is even more relevant.

Hope all this people that made and acted in this film have turn their selves to God because they know the truth about Jesus, even though it is a movie but in reality is worse than this movie. The devil is not playing chess he wants everyone to go with him to hell and hell is not a place to have fun or parties nor food or drinks, is suffering for eternity and no one is getting out of there, but still there is a way to reach heaven and that is through Jesus Christ, Jesus died on that cross to give humanity a chance to be saved and be in heaven eternally, just confess your sins repent from the bottom of your heart and ask the Lord Jesus to be your savior and live for him, by him for ever amen 🙏.

I've so much to say that can be said about how this movie actually depicted some things we never knew we'd see happen so quickly (ie: virtual reality helmets using AI, people knowingly worship Satan (even I was into the occult for a period of time). Of the entire series (four total), this is my favorite.

Thank you for sharing this with the world I have to admit that until yesterday I was an atheist and very anti religious but today I’m not. This is the second movie I have watched since yesterday I would usually avoid them and dismiss them as garbage. I know now why I was inspired to watch them I think that God led me to exactly what I needed and for once I have listened to his great wisdom and it has changed me. I prayed for his forgiveness and apologised for my lack of faith in him and the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ and begged for forgiveness in his name. I don’t know if that is right or wrong I’m new to this but today I feel different I have always felt alone in this world and now I don’t I can’t explain it I just know I’m being watched over and I didn’t know it before. To anyone who reads this thank you for your comments because reading them helped me understand and appreciate the gift I’ve been given bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord amen

People now want to focus only on one of His characteristics - love, and He *is* love but He is also Holy and Just...and sin is sin, *all* sin keeps us seperated from God the Father. It's not about works, not something we can earn, Grace, forgiveness is a *gift* as it says in Ephesions 2:8-9. ...Sorry, I went off on a tangent, but it matters so very much - I pray it will be used by the Holy Spirit to plant a seed in someone's heart💖) ...but, as I was saying😊; without Jesus' sacrifice we couldn't/wouldn't have the choice to accept His free gift of Salvation and *be reconciled to a Holy, Just and loving God, blessed to be able to spend eternity with Him* and our born again loved ones.

I came across this movie after watching A Thief in the Night. It’s an interesting take. I’m not sure that it’s completely biblically accurate however I’m very happy to see people trying to bring Jesus to those who don’t know Him.

The believing Sister was gone and the ones left behind didn't even remember she had existed, but the seeking Busey character/brother found the tree they had carved their names in. In the film, even her presence in a photo was removed...that may or may not happen, God may not allow it so that those left behind will have memory and evidence of Christians who have disappeared.

Last year, as I was sleeping I heard a voice "I'm coming soon." Months later same year, I'm sleeping and I don't recall dreaming each time and I hear "I'm coming soon," then there was a pause and I hear..."Tell them, I'm coming soon." Moreover, He gave his life on behalf of His Sheep (Jn 10:11,15). If Jesus had died for everybody (as many falsely teach), then everybody would be justified by His precious, shed blood and consequently saved from the wrath of God (Rom 5:9), and the Lake of Fire would be nearly empty.

Born Again Believers will not go through the Great Tribulation for those who do yes some will be saved but it will be harsh time so if you can’t serve the Lord now what makes you think your going to do it through the worst time that will ever be on the Earth
If you don't believe in a Rapture, don't worry, YOU WON'T BE GOING. You will be facing the horror of the tribulation as described in the Book of Revelation as portrayed in this movie. Pray you will be found worthy to escape the hour of temptation.

The Rapture occurs on 'The Day of the LORD" (1Th 4:17-5:2, 2Th 2:1-2), the day, which Jesus called "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), because it is the day when the present heavens and earth will be burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12). All those left behind, are the wicked who will be killed, the same day (Is 13:6-16, Jer 46:10, Joel 1:15-3:15), when the Wrath of God (Rev 16 )is poured out upon the earth, shortly before the present heaven and earth are burned-up with intense heat (2Pet:3:10-12).

But it is clear in 2 Thess 2:1-4 that the second coming and the rapture happen the SAME day, and that it is AFTER the apostasy and AFTER the antiChrist is revealed.

Regarding, "Enduring to the end" (Mt 24:13, Mk 13:13). These have been slightly misleadingly translated. T he literal Greek text reads, "The [one] at-some-point-remaining-under into [an] end, this [one] will-be-saved." This automatically includes all "His Elect" (Mt 24:31), even those who die during "The Great Tribulation" (Rev 7:14).
"The end" (Mt 24:13) can mean end of a life, journey or purpose
"The end" (Mt 24:3) means a consummation of an extended effort or period of time.
I agree with you . Christians will go through the tribulations. The idea that rapture will happen and Christians will escape tribulations is off.

An unusual take on the tribulation, but interesting and, at times, chilling. I am not persuaded of a pre-trib rapture, but the film is well worth watching. Thank you.
