You're absolutely right! It's a simple and low-cost energy solution, but it still involves some expenses. Thanks for your feedback, and I'm glad you liked it! Let me know if you have any questions or need further details. 😊
You're right to point that out! The term "free energy" can be misleading if it's not properly explained. While alternative energy sources like wood or solar power can reduce costs, there is still some input required, like fuel, maintenance, or installation. It would be more accurate to say something like "low-cost energy solutions" or "alternative heating methods." Thanks for bringing that up!
Thank you! That’s awesome you’ve made several wood stoves. I’m sure your version of this one will turn out amazing! 😁 Let me know how it goes or if you have any tips to share!
The substance you filled the jar with, is it oil or kerosene? What type of cloth or wick did you put in the copper tube and pull out from both ends? Please reply.
Good point! 😄 If gasoline is easily accessible and affordable, a generator might indeed be a simpler solution. But this is more for those looking for alternative methods, especially in situations where fuel is harder to come by. Do you have any other creative energy-saving ideas?
Thank you for your kind words and support! ❤ I appreciate your feedback and will make sure to include detailed information about the tools and materials used in future projects. Stay tuned, and good luck with your own DIY endeavors! 😊

Coper pipe in side cotton mix wolen fabric... this sucking a oil ..you can use... cooking oil...use car engine oil.. power steering oil..but..oil container not closed to stove...very simple and can easy making in home
That's a clever idea! Using a cotton and wool fabric mix inside the copper pipe helps with the oil absorption through capillary action, allowing the wick to suck up the oil and burn efficiently. As you mentioned, you can use various types of oils like cooking oil, car engine oil, or power steering oil. However, it's important to keep the oil container separate from the stove to prevent any potential fire hazards. This is a great DIY project for those looking for an easy-to-make stove using common materials. Thanks for sharing your approach!
You're absolutely right. Energy always comes with a cost, whether in terms of resources, time, or labor. Even if we use renewable sources, there's still an initial investment in infrastructure, maintenance, and technology. It's important to be mindful of the broader impact and cost of energy generation and consumption.
Ah, yes, the "free energy" concept! It can definitely be a bit misleading. The term "free energy" often gets thrown around in DIY projects, especially when talking about ways to harness natural resources or repurpose energy. But in reality, energy isn't truly "free." There are always inputs, even if they aren't immediately obvious. In your case, using sand to store heat energy from burning wood is a great idea for extending the warmth over time, but it's not *free* energy. It's simply capturing the heat that would otherwise dissipate into the air and storing it for later use. The process of storing and releasing energy still relies on the initial fuel source (wood in this case) to produce the heat. The term "free energy" often implies some kind of perpetual motion or a source of energy that doesn't require any input, but in reality, energy always comes with some kind of cost-whether it's fuel, materials, or labor. It’s always important to clarify that while you can make things more efficient or sustainable, there’s no such thing as truly "free energy." Would you like to explore how to improve the efficiency of energy storage or use different materials for better heat retention? 😄
Great question! To prevent evaporation, you could use a sealed container or cooling system. What methods have you tried or think might work best for storage?
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the project, and I'm sure you'll do an amazing job making it! Best of luck from Tehran, Iran! 👏👍 Keep up the great work, and feel free to share your results anytime! 😃
Thank you for your feedback! 😊 Safety is definitely a priority, and handling ethanol requires extra caution. Always take proper precautions when working with flammable substances. 🔥✨
The first material used to fill the copper pipe is Sand ? That I assume is to stop the pipe closing as it is being bent. Then the remains of the sand is taken out and a Wick of some material is pushed through the copper pipe to draw the furl from the container?
Exactly! The sand is used to prevent the copper pipe from collapsing or deforming while bending, ensuring a smooth curve. After the bending process, the sand is removed, and a wick (often made of cotton or another absorbent material) is inserted into the pipe. The wick helps draw fuel from the container to the top of the pipe, where it can be ignited or used for the intended purpose. It's a clever technique that combines both functionality and simplicity. Would you like any tips on sourcing or preparing the wick?
@presidentelectjerryodom3889 Yes, the wick used is often made of cotton, and the liquid could be either alcohol or kerosene, depending on the setup. In some cases, alcohol (like spirit or ethanol) is used for a cleaner burn, while kerosene may be chosen for longer-lasting fuel. It’s important to use the right fuel for safety and efficiency!
You’ve made some great points! a) Thank you; it’s a fuel that needs to be purchased. b) Excellent suggestion! Soldering the copper coil to the lid would improve stability and functionality. c) You're right again, a spirit lamp or stove is a much simpler and safer alternative for heating. d) Agreed, the traditional kerosene lamp is a great source of heat and light! Thanks for your thoughtful feedback! 😊
Absolutely! Adding several holes to the top of the cylinder would improve the airflow to the flame, which could: 1. **Enhance Combustion**: More oxygen would lead to more complete and efficient burning, improving the heat output. 2. **Stabilize the Flame**: Proper ventilation would reduce the risk of the flame flickering or going out, especially in varying conditions. 3. **Prevent Overheating**: Adequate airflow helps keep the system from becoming too hot, which could be dangerous. This simple adjustment would make the design more practical, safer, and efficient for long-term use.
Read this carefully. There are two problems for this design to be effectively commercialised or used. One, the fuel keeps on burning till the last drop. There is no way to stop combustion except taking out the lid from the jar. Second, because the coil extends too much beyond the jar perimeter, the whole setup can not be easily carried on trips. Though there is a simple solution for both. Use metal jar with lid. The coil needs to be vertically high to the lid with just enough height, not too high. Use special heat resistant sponge in metal jar so it absorbs a lot of liquid and the fuel does not spill. The whole setup should come with some kind of lid to st stop oxygen flow when the cooking is done to block the hoes of copper coil. The burner or whatever you call it should be of just bit bigger in diameter than the stove so that it can accommodate the stove and of just few inches bigger than the height of the stove. This design would be very useful for practical purposes including outdoors.
Your observations are well thought out and address critical issues for improving the design's practicality and safety. Here's a concise summary of your suggestions: 1. **Fuel Control**: Introduce a mechanism to extinguish the flame without removing the entire lid, such as a stopper or oxygen-blocking feature. 2. **Portability**: Design a compact, integrated setup with a metal jar and a vertically optimized coil. 3. **Spill Prevention**: Use a heat-resistant sponge or similar material to absorb fuel, minimizing spills during transport. 4. **Design Compactness**: Ensure the burner accommodates the stove's dimensions while being lightweight and portable for outdoor use. These enhancements could significantly increase the design's usability and marketability.
@@DIYmr.T 5.**Draft**. For proper combustion the flame should have a flow of air from below and also a vent for the hot air to escape. Otherwise your flame will be yellow and you will accumulate soot.
@@williamstewart1176 Yes, the burner can work well if it's designed properly and used with the right materials, such as the appropriate fuel and wick. However, the performance can depend on factors like the fuel used, the size of the wick, and the airflow. Proper safety precautions should always be followed to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that can be deadly. It prevents oxygen from reaching your organs and can cause headaches, dizziness, confusion, and nausea. Stay safe by: Installing a CO detector. Never using gas-powered devices indoors. Maintaining appliances properly. If you suspect poisoning, get fresh air and seek medical help immediately.
Freezing to death, or hypothermia, occurs when the body loses heat faster than it can produce, causing the body temperature to drop to a dangerously low level. It can happen in very cold environments, especially if a person is exposed for an extended period without proper clothing or shelter. The process involves the body shutting down its non-essential functions to preserve heat for vital organs, eventually leading to unconsciousness and, if not treated, death. If you were referencing something else, feel free to clarify!
Yes, creating a little distance between the furnace and the tuna can can allow the fuel to heat up faster, potentially improving the rate of combustion. The heat from the furnace would be able to act more directly on the fuel, causing it to evaporate and ignite more efficiently. However, this also increases the risk of higher temperatures and potential safety hazards, so it's important to maintain a balance between efficient heat transfer and safety precautions.
Needs a small relief on the chimney Top ,flames have no where to go but down, Dangerous near the Tank. Relief at the Top would let it stay at the TOP.?.
Exactly! Adding a small vent or relief at the top of the chimney would allow the flames to rise safely and reduce the risk of them being trapped and potentially causing a hazard near the fuel tank. This way, the combustion can occur more efficiently and safely.

You're right! Ethanol can be relatively expensive when compared to other heating fuels. While it might work well for small-scale, portable stoves or emergency situations, its cost makes it less practical for long-term heating. If you're looking for cheaper alternatives, you could consider using wood, biomass pellets, or even waste oil, which are often more affordable and accessible depending on your location.

@@ERUGOLOVCHA Exactly! It's not the liquid gasoline itself that's dangerous, but the vapor that gasoline emits when it evaporates. Hi, thank you for watching the video and commenting. The burning time can be extended depending on the fuel and the amount of fuel. Can you give a more specific perspective so we can discuss further?
The duration the bottle can burn depends on several factors, including the size of the bottle, the type of fuel used, and the wick's material and size. Typically, if you're using alcohol as fuel, a full bottle might burn for a few hours, but this can vary based on the wick's absorption rate and how efficiently the fuel burns. As for the wick inside the tube, it will burn as long as there is enough fuel to sustain it. The wick absorbs the fuel, and as the fuel evaporates and is drawn up, it burns. Once the fuel is depleted or the wick stops drawing fuel, the flame will go out. If you’re using this setup, make sure the wick and the tube are designed to handle the heat and fuel type you’re using to avoid any safety hazards.

You're absolutely right-energy is not free. While it may seem like something can be produced with little cost or effort, there is always a source of energy, whether it's electricity, fuel, or some other form. Even renewable energy sources like wind or solar require investment in infrastructure and maintenance. Energy can be transformed from one type to another (for example, from chemical energy in fuel to heat energy), but the principle of conservation of energy states that it cannot be created or destroyed, only converted.
Haha, no bombs here! 😅 It’s all about creative and safe DIY projects-nothing explosive, I promise! Always handle these kinds of setups carefully and keep safety in mind. Thanks for the laugh, though! 😂
You're absolutely right! It's important to clearly show and explain all the materials used, including the liquid in the video. I should have provided more details about the type of liquid, such as whether it's alcohol, fuel, or something else, to ensure viewers understand exactly what is being used. Thank you for pointing that out! I'll make sure to include such information in future videos to make them clearer and more informative.
Yes, cooking oils like canola or olive oil can be used as fuel, but they need to be processed or filtered to ensure clean burning. When used in modified burners or engines designed for biofuels, these oils can burn with minimal soot. However, they tend to have a higher viscosity compared to traditional fuels, so they may require additional steps such as heating or blending with other fuels to ensure smoother combustion and avoid clogging. It's essential to experiment and ensure the burner or stove is compatible with oils to achieve the cleanest burn possible.
You're right-using cooking oils like canola or olive oil can be more expensive than other fuel options, and it's typically not the most cost-effective choice for long-term use. However, if you have a steady supply of used cooking oil, it can be filtered and repurposed, which makes it a more affordable and sustainable option. It's a good way to recycle waste oil while still achieving clean combustion. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, you could also consider using animal fats or waste oils from other sources!

Energy can never be free
You're absolutely right. Energy always comes with a cost, whether in terms of resources, time, or labor. Even if we use renewable sources, there's still an initial investment in infrastructure, maintenance, and technology. It's important to be mindful of the broader impact and cost of energy generation and consumption.
About that called Energy 😂
It’s always important to clarify that while you can make things more efficient or sustainable, there’s no such thing as truly "free energy."
Would you like to explore how to improve the efficiency of energy storage or use different materials for better heat retention? 😄
Fantastic!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊 If you have any questions or ideas to share, feel free to let me know. 🚀
@@DIYmr.T Ganz einfach gesagt Zeitverschwendung, aber Du hast ja was davon gehabt.
How do you stop it from evaporating?
There's no way to store it.
Great question! To prevent evaporation, you could use a sealed container or cooling system. What methods have you tried or think might work best for storage?

What is the name of the liquid that being used, was that kero o alcohol?
Hello, we use 90% alcohol as fuel.
@DIYmr.T is that some type of cotton wick rope and what liquid is that? Alcoholic or kerosene.

That's awesome! Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions while setting it up. What part are you most excited to try?
You’ve made some great points!
a) Thank you; it’s a fuel that needs to be purchased.
b) Excellent suggestion! Soldering the copper coil to the lid would improve stability and functionality.
c) You're right again, a spirit lamp or stove is a much simpler and safer alternative for heating.
d) Agreed, the traditional kerosene lamp is a great source of heat and light!
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback! 😊
The result would have been better if there were several holes in the top of the cylinder that houses the flame.
Absolutely! Adding several holes to the top of the cylinder would improve the airflow to the flame, which could:
Here's a concise summary of your suggestions:
Thank you
do light work very well
Absolutely! This setup is best suited for light-duty tasks. Thanks for noticing! 😊
Does the Burner work well?
@@williamstewart1176 Yes, the burner can work well if it's designed properly and used with the right materials, such as the appropriate fuel and wick. However, the performance can depend on factors like the fuel used, the size of the wick, and the airflow. Proper safety precautions should always be followed to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.

DANGER. CARBON MONOXIDE KILLS
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that can be deadly. It prevents oxygen from reaching your organs and can cause headaches, dizziness, confusion, and nausea.
Stay safe by:
Installing a CO detector.
Never using gas-powered devices indoors.
Maintaining appliances properly. If you suspect poisoning, get fresh air and seek medical help immediately.
So does freezing to death
Freezing to death, or hypothermia, occurs when the body loses heat faster than it can produce, causing the body temperature to drop to a dangerously low level. It can happen in very cold environments, especially if a person is exposed for an extended period without proper clothing or shelter. The process involves the body shutting down its non-essential functions to preserve heat for vital organs, eventually leading to unconsciousness and, if not treated, death.
If you were referencing something else, feel free to clarify!
If you provide a little distance between furnace and tuna can, it boil very gast

How long does it burn for?
Hi, thank you for watching the video and commenting. The burning time can be extended depending on the fuel and the amount of fuel. Can you give a more specific perspective so we can discuss further?
How long if we fill the bottle and does the wick inside the tube burn? @@DIYmr.T

Even renewable energy sources like wind or solar require investment in infrastructure and maintenance.
Energy can be transformed from one type to another (for example, from chemical energy in fuel to heat energy), but the principle of conservation of energy states that it cannot be created or destroyed, only converted.

You're very welcome! If you ever need anything else, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to help! 😊
firstly you start your video with named items but when you got liquid yoy did,nt show any thing for what you using in liquid?
You're absolutely right! It's important to clearly show and explain all the materials used, including the liquid in the video. I should have provided more details about the type of liquid, such as whether it's alcohol, fuel, or something else, to ensure viewers understand exactly what is being used.
Thank you for pointing that out! I'll make sure to include such information in future videos to make them clearer and more informative.
May be sprit in the jar. And we're there small holes in copper coil

Will this work with cooking oil as fuel-vegetable oil like canola or olive???
Well using those would be expensive but it works.

👍👍👍
What u filled in it,
The jar is typically filled with alcohol, such as ethanol or methanol, depending on the specific design and purpose of the burner. If you're replicating this project, it's important to handle flammable liquids carefully and ensure proper ventilation and safety precautions. Always verify the material recommendations provided in the tutorial. 😊
