The So-Called Travel Expert brings you a short video from the Calanque National Park in south France.
A Calanque is a cove usually on the Mediterranean coast of France. The crystal clear water is very scenic and this area also provides many opportunities for easy hikes to scenic views. Remember that there are no restaurants inside the Calanque National Park, so please pack a picnic and plenty of water to take along on the hike.
If you visit the Calanque National Park, also do not forgot to drive on the Route des Cretes (from Cassis to La Ciotat). This scenic route also offers outstanding views of the cliffs and the town of Cassis.
