    This was lovely. Heading back to France this summer to visit the Loire Valley - can't wait for a hot-air balloon ride over the Chateaux which has always been a dream of mine!

    We recently toured the Loire Valley and loved it. We based in Amboise and spent 4-5 days there before going back to Paris.

    Mont Saint Michelle is hardly an easy day trip from Paris. It's 357 km, which is 4 hours drive one way. Unless you leave at 6am, you won't have enough time to see it.

    These places have so many things to see that going there for a day trip doesn’t accomplish much. Traveling is the entire experience and not just have a picture to post on instagram

    If we hv to do any two then which one ll u suggest....?

    • @MultiCityTrips
      @MultiCityTrips 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      All trips are special but if I have to chose only two I would go with my personal favorite...Bruges! Not only you have an opportunity to see another country but Bruges was really one of the most prettiest towns I have seen (there is another town along the same train route called Ghent that was also stunning. If you start your day early, you might be able to do both) and so different from Paris. As I am a wine lover and France also known for their wine, I would choose between Champaign and Loire. You can taste some good wine throughout Paris but there is nothing like experience it at the original location. I hope this helps.

      @@MultiCityTrips i meant within france... I m planning on three day trips from thr... Disneyland being one of those and confused for the other two.. I found chantilly nd champagne region exciting... Want to knw bout ur views...

      @@brijgoenka6905 if you have enough time, you definitely should visit both. Chantilly is really stunning and in my opinion as impressive as Versailles. it’s easy to get to, has far less crowds, and is packed with beautiful and interesting architecture, gardens, food, history, and art. As for champaign, this is, in my opinion, one of the best day trips even if you are not a wine lover. I think you'll enjoy the countryside, the long history of winemaking and more that are unique to the region.

    Please note that Mont Saint Michel is too far away for a day trip. You should spend a night in Avranches or Saint Malo or Dinan.

    Le Mont Saint Michel is not a 'castle' but an 'abbey.' Don't dream about making it a day trip - it is too far.
