Wow! Corsica’s Mountains look a bit like the Italian Dolomites, always great to discover some underrated places like Corsica 😊
They definitely reminded me of the Dolomites, especially the Aiguilles de Bavella, such incredible mountains! ⛰️
Incredible and underrated.. the dramatic mountains, wild gorges and secluded beaches are a world away from the busy and over-developed Cot-d'azur!
I completely agree, it was way less crowded and peaceful compared to the French Riviera
Corsica, with its stunning coastline, picturesque beaches, and rugged mountains, offers an idyllic escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers, providing a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and delectable local cuisine.

I took a trip there in February ‘22 and then moved there later that year to teach English. I saw so much more during my trip than my time living there. I didn’t have a car, and wasn’t social enough to find someone with a car. I regret not exploring more, but damn I loved being tucked between the mountains and the sea every day. I will return one day :)
Corsica is definitely worth visiting. I'm glad you included the mountains of the interior, which remind me of California's Pinnacles National Monument. The Genoese buildings add an extra level of interest. There's also Napoleon's birthplace in Ajaccio. The weather looked great, too.

I didn’t use any public transportation so I’m not sure but I’d definitely recommend getting a rental car. It’s a big island

That’s a tough question, I think Corsica has better mountains and diversity of landscapes. Sardinia probably has more beaches and the Baunei coast, both are amazing though ☺️🏖️
