Thanks for posting my favorite town! I live not too far from there! You can't go there with out going to Keaton Beach and the Fiddler Crab Fest! Thanks for sharing!

This place has an insider name: “Steen hatchie”. If you don’t pronounce it that way people in town know you’re not from there. 😉This is a great place to go scalloping! My favorite hobby!! Thank you Jose n Katie! 💕😪

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS if you’re not in to actually eating them it still fun to “fish” for them. It’s almost like Easter egg hunting. They hide in the green grass off Steinhatchee in the water and you see them and once they see you, they “swim” away in these large white shells as you try to catch them. It l is a very fun activity to catch them especially for kids, and if you don’t eat them just throw them back. But it’s definitely snorkel and fins required because they are fast! n you need a hand held net to collect. They have these crazy blue eyes too!
If you n Katie decide to have kids I highly suggest you go when they are old enough and able to snorkel.

Come back during scallop season. It's really busy in the summer time. Great places to eat down there.

That's where I want to be, in Old Florida. Been looking for over four years, and every time I set my sights on a house, it is sold before I can even get started. That house in Anthony I asked you about yesterday...sold. The Silver Springs house is still available; we shall see...

This is just my opinion but I really like the Florida content over the Alabama content. Alabama looks just like where I live in the smokey mnts..

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Chatahoochee and the Marianna area are both beautiful and spooky, between the state prisons and mental health facilities, forests, hills... Also Blountstown and Wakulla.

This is a beautiful area but one of the most storm surge-prone parts of the Florida coast. You get a storm like Michael coming in at the right angle, it's over. Fortunately, landfalls on the Nature Coast are less compared to south Florida and the panhandle.

I'm wondering if the Florida scrub jay is around the scrubs near "steen-hatchee"
And Marco island...the bullies and rich sociopaths destroyed it. They see water and palms and what they get for them...and that's right...prob why they are rich...
And yes i get old fl vibes...i saw so much more of that when i was a kid in the 80's.
