If there is any QB that Michigan can get this spring portal it'll be a Jack Tuttle type QB or maybe a Ty Simpson type from Bama (if you're lucky); a young guy stuck behind someone a year older who is unproven but with upside (or hopefully has upside). That's all you'll get.

Idk how people are just now says millings is elite. Every time he runs the ball he is toting that rock. He's going to be just like Hassan, maybe a little faster.
Definetely not elite, but a good complement to Edwards. I'd like to see Hall and Cabana, tho. They've more upside and shouldn't be stucked behind Mullings if they're better all around.

@@austin6446 I don't think you can call someone with that amount of touches elite. He did well when he played, but so did Don in 22 and we've seen the downgrade Edwards had in 23. Mullings is more powerful than Corum but doesn't have his agility and facility on jump cuts. Plus his top speed concerns me, although it's not essential for him, it's something that hinders his capacity of being an elite player. Not saying he can't be very good or near elite, but I'd hold a little bit before calling him an elite player.

You mentioned jalen Milroe conveniently leave out the fact that they brought on a now lacrosse player to replace him after the spring. He then beat him out during the season and Alabama went to the rose bowl. If the harbaugh regime taught us anything it’s that possible to win at a high level with elite trench play and decent qb play. Let’s let the kids play it out and the coaches coach and see how it works out. There are no cure alls coming in the portal

They make JJ seem like he was a world beater. He was good, but his best skill set was his legs and throwing accurate on the run, but dude barely threw the ball. We just need a competent qb who doesn’t turn it over.

Everyone please pray to the College Football Gods that Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant do not enter the portal. All of the national shows are talking about SEC teams needed DTs. They are going to get a TON of cash thrown their way and with the way our NIL is, I wouldn't be surprised if both leave.
I hope I am wrong. But it is a new world in college football and if Michigan wants to keep these guys they absolutely need to get their NIL in order. It's a total dumpster fire right now.
