Good thing Bernie released bullet proof diagnostics strategies on how to spot bad networks in seconds. We know they talk and a wiring diagram helps identify isolation vs in line data which very helpful in diagnosis.

I understand from this video that you offer courses on automotive networks. Stupid question: How can you do that without coming into conflict with the car manufacturers? An example is the well-protected sequence to overcome the gateway on the OBD. But otherwise I find you to be a competent teacher👍
The secure gateway is a feature of a diagnostics tools. Many can over come this now. All of my cars it’s not a problem. And if you do indeed have a serious CAN fault, once confirmed it’s time to put the scan tool away and use other diagnostic methods 👍
Hello dear instructor, I have a can low fault in my vehicle. The power steering pump is short-circuiting to the can low person. When I measure it with a multi meter, it shows the value. The vehicle Opel Zafira B case. What can I do? I should unplug all the control units one by one and check again.
@@MechanicMindset how does PicoTech control that feature? Do the Automotive version come with different software? Do you know where else I might get access to wave forms for BMWs? M62 engine. Thanks for the videos. Will like all of them and comment for algorithm.
@@OilBaron100 Hardware and software. You need the scope to access but the software is free. You can try Rotkee.com, the Ditex website. There are also some helpful Facebook groups for waveforms. Thanks!
