THANK YOU MR THOMPSON. So many years in this business. As a tech and THANKS TO YOU I see how my skills have improved practically overnight. You are ONE OF A KIND. We are honor in the industry to have YOU. Blessings 🥋
Thank you so much for sharing this info. It’s 3 hours of free advanced training. DIYers like me appreciate it much. These new cars with advanced systems are now getting old enough to start having vast electrical issues. And being able to fix them is getting to the point where you need to not only be a mechanic but you need to be an engineer.
Hi Bernie,I’m over in uk I’ve tried to read books to learn about can but until watching your seminar and how you explain it so much has sunk in WOW thank you.❤
Excellent presentation. A lot to learn from Bernie. Dam my head hurt from so much information. I had to breaker the video in section of 30 min at a time so i can stay focuse on Bernie's presentation. I love the way Bernie approches a problem and fix it. I appreciate all who make this presentation possible.
When it comes to automotive diagnostics and how modern vehicle electronics work. There no one more knowledgeable than Bernie. What I'd do to have his skill
Excellent??? By what metric?? If you mean he’s excellent at yelling, I’d definitly agree! Imaging how excellent this lecture could be if the presenter would take a class himself on delivering a lecture properly.
G and Bernie are a match made in heaven. Great video. I am just a DIY'er with a 1989 Honda Crx HF so most of this is way over my head but I am still fascinated by smart people nonetheless.
This is gold for me. I love troubleshooting and information like this ensures that I can attack any problem car without chasing my tail when technical information is absent. I keep going back to see if I missed something that may be useful when troubleshooting.
What a great presentation! I was recently pondering the possibility of "data collision" but didn't know what to call it or if it was a thing. Thank you for this!
Even if it's not possible to decode every manufacturers command set, a signal monitor scan tool ought to be able to list out the traffic by header addresses and data values as the packet format is standardized. It should also be possible to identify the modules that have been kicked offline due to errors.
Wow, if a cell tower can cause codes in a vehicle because of inducing signals in the bus, imagine what theyre doing to our neurological systems. Thats wild.
Just curious as to why only '32' comments' on a major topic in vehicle Diagnostics, considering 47K views with 30K+ subscribers, the Math just doesn't add up, was it too complex/Boring or simply way above most viewers thinking faculties ? 🤔 The mind boggles, perhaps the appeal of easy quick soundbites are the new 'norm' today ? TikTok and netflix are surely winning the gullible and the simpletons limited comprehension that will no doubt churn out a newer generation incapable of tying their shoelaces and becoming the Kyles And the Karens of the modern age!
I think everything you said is true. I've been on a big learning kick for 8-10 years now. It has gotten even stronger since I turned 40. There are several subjects and aspects of life that I've been diving into. Thankfully I have a job where it's possible to listen to podcasts and videos like this. However, there are still times where I burn out and have to take a step back and let my mind numb out in neutral for awhile. Most people have no attention span now and learning something new is too much of a struggle and they can't persevere to the other side. It is sad and great at the same time. There are less capable people out there but the ones that can will be able to write their own paychecks.
I wonder if this guy could YELL a bit more often during his lecture…. I don’t think he YELLS enough and if he would YELL a bit more, maybe his students would absorb more of the information. Jeez!
