this is the best song ever made...hits my heart where it hurts and tries to heal it every time i listen to it...thank you thrice, such a legendary band.
Of all the early 2000s bands I grew up with, Thrice has always been one of my favorites. I'm so thrilled they're still around nearly 20 years later making music I enjoy. Cheers boys.
Dustin is the best song writer in the last 2001. I have yet to not be impressed or not fall in love with everything he and Thrice does. There are shredders and show offs on guitar with NO soul and then there is Dustin WITH soul for days. Greatest voice in rock as well. So much love ❤️
I love Thrice so much, i just wanted to say that. They have been my favorite band for basically 20 years and they are still creating and touring, i hope i can still go see them in 20 more. Ill definitely still be listening either way.
@@sajanah1253 Hopefully in the past few months you've gotten to explore some of their other songs and albums. Personally Vheissu is near the top for me. Also, look up their song Words in the Water. It's my favorite next to Beyond the Pines!
I always knew Thrice was going to make it big, even as I was listening to Identity Crisis... There's just something so power about Dustin's lyrics... Took a lot longer than it should. Thrice has the most loyal fans, I'd put em up against any other band.
Are you ready? Are you alive to all that moves in me? Are you steady? Are you alarmed that I am incomplete? Are you ready for my soul? What if I'm broken from the start? And what if I never heal? Are you ready for my soul? What if I open up my heart? And somehow we stumble into something real? Are you ready? Are you aware of all that's underneath? Are you steady? Are you awake to what our love could be? Are you ready for my soul? What if I'm broken from the start? And what if I never heal? Are you ready for my soul? What if I open up my heart? everytime I hear this come on, i feel something different..just entirely new situations. the first (and strongest) was an angel talking to someone on a deathbed who doesn't believe they are going to heaven "are you ready for my soul?" in the end we all hear what we want to. I love that this is so interpretive for their audience. few bands still do that for their fans
555th Like! Nice.... such a beautiful, hypnotic, instant classic. Dustin’s voice gets better with every album. Easily the best song off this album. Bravo gents 👏
Very few will understand the analogy between the songs' lyrics and the symbolic picture of the album 😇 I sure hope I'm wrong and alot did understand though 😕
@@JakeH.357 do you remember like early EP days of audioslave. How epic it was. Im 32 and that formed my current tastes. It's refreshing to hear the comparison for me.
@@adamphillips642 No, unfortunately I was too young to remember at the time. My dad bought the first album when it came out though, so I kinda grew up on it haha. I still keep the CD in my car at all times.
@@GnarDawgeh Really? I thought that hiatus was exactly what they needed. It has all of the anthems and powerful hooks, riffs and songs that get stuck in your head for days. It just has more energetic moments, though softer Thrice is great too I just don't find myself as floored by many of the softer songs other than Blood On Blood on this album, but maybe it's a grower.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 perhaps it's because I've always really been into their heavier tracks from previous albums, such as "talking through glass, " "stand and feel your worth" and "the messenger."
Hey dicks. I own all their albums. And I will continue to ask the same question. I was in high school when they first started. Artist in the Ambulance is still my favorite album.

Okay

And Dustin's voice has evolved in such a beautiful way. Slowly acquired more grit, blues and soul while still hittin' them highs. 100% agree with you.
This song has me in tears...
We all love you
it has us all man, it has us all...
(lots of us us that is)
Wow this band just evolves into something greater after every album
I feel Dustin's inside me understanding my struggles and somehow putting down the lyrics to allow the release - totally beautiful
This is my favorite off the album, I can't stop listening. I connect with this song. So beautiful
Thrice finally made a baby-making anthem. About time!
I don’t really get how this song is a baby making anthem please explain?

Wow, what a beautiful song!.
Sensual, raw, and vulnerable....
Blushing just to listen.
Always love these few softer moments in Thrice albums.
Palms has the most direct lyrical content they have ever made. Less cryptic yet still thought provoking.
I'm a new fan who got into Thrice after hearing Pines. This album is very spiritual. Not sure about other albums though.

Super underrated band!! They just keep getting better!

This album is incredible! Such powerful sounds on all the tracks!
I've never been into this band. A friend turned me on to a different Thrice song which lead to this one. This song is amazing.

I'm a Hold Fast Hope kinda guy, and I fucking love this. Thank you Dustin for switching things up like this. Beautiful.
Probably my fav from this album
Amazing song I feel the soul!!! I'm Ready!!!

What great transformations this band has made. Really artistically exploring new sounds. Totally respect it.
Listened to thrice when i was in HS… Amazed that theyre still able to make songs that hit so deep.. 👏👏
im speechless, it captivated me. I love this song, and the album.
This is Art... I literally cannot wait to see you guys in concert...
Such a beautiful song and lyrics.
This song surely hits different.

This album is just unbelievably fantastic

If you've never heard the album 'song in the air' by Elliott, please do. Two tracks, Believe and Beijing, would resonate with you... I think 🤔
Back in the mid 90’s I listened over and over to an album by Robert Plant. This takes me there.

A Masterpiece!
ok, i wasn't feeling "Palms" that much, but this song spoke to me
Music for the soul right here
So unglaublich schön 🍀💕

Another perfect song!!
This album is so good. I have to say probably thier best!
Wow....just, wow
All the feels right here. 🖤🤘🏿
Classic From the ever progressive Thrice
Better than the Beatles! Ya I said it!
Without question
Putting me in them feels again

amazing song
Incredible!
Thrice's "Undisclosed Desires".
Vince from Brand New would have shredded a solo in this one.
esto es hermoso
So I've never heard Thrice, yes I know, where have I been.....well I'm here now and they fucking rock! Top 5 easy
Such a sexy bass line
If Sade wrote a Thrice song...
If Thrice wrote a sad song

A Sade cover. That'd be sweet

I want to give myself to this song
I'm here because of DK and this song is Amazing
because of what?
Because of my friend DK, he is a big fan of Thrice 😊
Donkey Kong has the best taste.
this demands to be listened with planar magnetic headphones or a good 7.2 home theatre setup
Does anyone else hear Chris Cornell in this song? Love it!!

😍😍😍
A bit of Radiohead in this too, but better
This song is about living past of what's already behind you... no more choppers to butcher...
Holy fuck this is me
I'm going to be honest, and I'm totally glad that they keep on expanding their sound but nothing will ever beat their last album IMO.
Beggars was probably my favourite album. Tbeitbn, while still terrific, seemed a bit like they rushed it to me.
