Thanks for this video, I was so confused when I went to get the original throttle grip off and saw there are all these ridges. I was so worried the heated grips aren't actually compatible 😂 purchasing a file this afternoon so I can finish the job! Hopefully I manage to avoid the sticking issue 😬
LuchsLater I’ve ended up getting exactly what you had on the throttle sticking!! Did you find it was just the outside edge of the bar that was catching or inside the throttle housing too?😩
@@stattermax Both. I had to sand the outer part of the bar. You could feel the glue sticking there. And there was glue inside the housing of the heated grips. But it wasn't difficult to remove.

On the throttle body did you sand down the inside ridges as well as the ones at the end of the bar?
Yes. A round file would have been very helpful.
