Very interesting, love the fact that you gave your reasoning for every single deck place. It would be interesting to see an update video after shrouded fables is out to see if things actually evolved like you predicted or if there were any sleeper decks.
For what it’s worth, you can proxy all the new cards on testing sites and play the decks. There isnt really a “okidogi” deck but a “dark toolbox” deck. It uses mainly all the new dark beat sticks and the baby monkidori to move damage. It’s a turbo deck and a little clunky but for sure tier 2 still. Also, gouging fire plus monkidori is better than you’d think. Magma Basin then switch off the damage to hit bigger numbers.
i havent really seen a good list for gouging fire but i think thats a pretty cool idea. Im really excited for the new set and to use all the new dark support!
i think dusclops and dusknoir alone will shake up the format enough to where this whole meta is too shaken up to really make a call using old archetypes. Plus Slowking looks kinda crazy.
ya we will have to wait and see, my main thing is that these decks are just so strong that I dont see them really going away any time soon if ever by time of worlds since they will just improve with new sets
My son plays raging bolt/ogerpon ex and has defeated gardi, miraidon, future hands, chari, dragapult with relative ease. Lost box was a bit difficult and loses to ancient box most of the time.
raging bolt is a strong deck for sure, it just has not preformed well at higher level events so it cant be rated that highly. also it can win into any match up for sure but it has about a 40% win percent into gadi over all since I had to rank it a bit on the lower end. However that being said I still think it is a great deck and can win games. Its more about the player then the deck at the end of the day!
I think the main issue is that manaphy blocks it and so if we see a lot of kyurem then we will see them just play it and block everything. And they wont really have to much of an issue setting it up and keeping it around with 4 super rods in the deck already. I think kyurem will work best in decks like regidrago but as a whole I feel like every LZ player will just make sure they get it on the board turn 1 every game.

ya thats a great idea! Ill be sure to make an update on it as the set comes out and things evolve!

Do you think playing Mew in Gardy is the way going forward?
No I wouldnt think so but maybe that would catch on, but im not sure how much value it would add and in gardy you want to limit 2 prize liability
@professorgnome yeah that's exactly why I don't currently play it lol. Thanks for the insight, I enjoy your videos 🤙

Everyone gonna tech against garde and zard and remove their enhanced hammer and sinnoh then lugia gonna swoop in and win
I think sinnoh will stay stay a 1 of at least in everyones deck since lugia will never fall out of at least top 5
Also if lugia bricks it just loses harder than other decks do when they brick.
