He was Terry Mecca in Eddie Einhorns IWA. I. This promotion he was called Terry Meeker.

Hey Jon. This was from the channel 5 studio in Nashville, Tn. I looked in my files and this probably was the 5-29-1976 TV show. The 6-1-1976 Nashville House show had the 8 man tag as the main event.

Gordy was basically a job guy and had no similarities to his eventual persona….until he started throwing those right hands and then it could be no one else.

I think it's from Tennessee, either Chattanooga or Nashville, not sure which one. It's from probably 1976, Spring of '76 I would guess.
