I have always loved watching Rachel True- In some ways she helped other women of color break thru the "black girl" charcter stereotype that Hollywood put all black females in. But you couldn't pigeon hole Rachel's style...that is when you're truely fighting racism - Black people in USA all have similar struggles and challenges that are very specific to being African American , HOWEVER, NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE BELIEVE, THINK, OR LIKE THE SAME THINGS. - TRUE defines that :)

With her background, I'm surprised they never did a scene with her and the cards, even if just learning them, because she did represent intuition, they just showed she was a swimmer and the racism she faced.
