Love this one....red is my second fav color. But, please conquer your fear😂🤣 and do a purple....my top fav 💜 . Thank you for sharing your space with us. However, by now, a year on, it might have changed a bit....a good thing, right?😊
LOL...okay, am officially hooked on Dwights art! Not a fan of red-actually avoid it if possible in any of my art. But have to say, this one makes reconsideration a possibility! Beautiful work, am going to do Dwightpours smorgasbords the next few days! Brace for rapid-fired comments! Thank you for sharing.
Love, love, the red! And, the tour of your studio and gallery was fabulous. You are surrounded by so many gorgeous paintings. Wonderful time with this video tonight!
Love the red and all hanging in your gallery. Get them on a for sale wall and watch them fly, you've been loving them long enough. Make some money man I might need to borrow some🤣.!!
Thank you for sharing your personal art space with us! What a blessing to have so much room to be free! I’m continually impressed with your work. Your love of pouring radiates through you art. 🦋
That is one massive canvas! Thanks for the tour of your space. Those monochromatics were fabulous. I have tried a few of these Dump and Swirls now, after seeing one of your earlier videos. They are fun and quick to do and then so fun to sit and watch them develop.
This is gorgeous and really dramatic! So interesting! I loved the tour of your hanging pieces. You’ve done some beautiful art. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. Be well.❤️
You did another green... 💚🤎💛 I missed it! Still wish you wouldn't of painted over the green Goddess II when I picked the green, brown, gold pearl pour you did! I so wanted to buy that piece! 😥😪😭
Hey! I’m the one that had you do the one with greens. I’m so glad that it already has a buyer! Your walls are awesome! I unfortunately don’t have that kind of space for my pieces. This piece with the reds came out fabulously! Keep up the great work man. You are so good at this! I’m subscribing right now!
The black dump paint is slightly thicker than the other colors...so when stretched out it should sink a bit allowing the metallics to rise to the surface....
Great job. Very clean and crisp. You’re never going to surface from that studio. 😁I’m not sure if you like deep purple but Masters Touch Violet works great to get cells! I’ve only used it for Shelee art blooms. It worked well for me.
That heavier black over those reds is indeed FIRE magic. This is stunning!! Your gallery space is really, really nice - I love how you have your work displayed. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I feel/see a MelyD influence here - I love her simple is best style and your monochromatic series is really, really beautiful. I'm a new subscriber to your channel (Ryan's Abstract Art recommended you) and I'm thankful I popped over!! Looking forward to watching some of your other videos and exploring your art journey. Blessings!!
Thank you soooo much! Yes MelyD is/was a major influence when I started a little over a year ago. She coined the dump and swirl, hers are a little more dramatic than mine as I just basically do a puddle pour and swirl! Maybe I’ll call it the “Swirly”. Lol...I’m going to do a large one in yellow, gulp, this week when I have some time!
@@dwightpours1261 I was watching some of your other pours last night (well in truth this morning) and I can totally see the influence in your work. Your color palettes are very dramatic and I love the contrast with the black. It looks very "cosmic". Yellow is a TOUGH color to keep from going muddy, but you got that red to literally glow on the canvas. Maybe layer with some gold and titanium white so it will pop out against the black, but I'll definitely be looking forward to that one! Blessings!!! And good luck!!
Serendipity Soul Fluid Art with Jan thx! I have several different types, shades of yellow...so I’m mostly confident I won’t loose the color but we shall see
Most of my art is available for purchase...I have a website that I haven’t updated in a while. Since I’m getting ready for a show all my new ones are hopefully for that. However I keep painting
OhHELLYEAHHHHH Love that RED gorgeous gorgeous Dwight gorgeous. Love your space and all your work is fantastic. O still do not knowhow to email . can ya believe that ? Its true. Anyways im needing the amount of paint that you said we could email you And you'd tell us how much per canvas n so on. Well soon I hope cuz every time I watch you o get inspired but am so afraid of failure and also the waist of paints. But that red takes the cake man.
I love the red! I saw all the paintings on the wall and my question is do you always want a black center? Sometimes I don't get a black center it's almost covered in cells is that undesirable with this technique? Thank you so much your work has truly inspired me so much!
You can use other color...I’ve done blue white and red...however, the consistencies need to be different as well...it’s not as easy as black...I’m sort of in the zone with black and the simplicity of the art, not overwhelming with color at the moment!
I’m thinking about white but it’s my least favorite base color so I’m loving this pour with the black. It’s also a great lesson for me to only use a few colors lol not 8-10 I can never decide lol!
I have tried and tried ,I have thinned my paint I still get small cells, is there a particular brand of black puddle paint that is best and will the brand affect the amount of cells?
Typically small cells are because the dump paint is too thick. I use the same paints all the time because they work best…artist loft soft body black or acrylic flow black if they are making that again!
It’s absolutely beautiful, do you add silicon in your black to cause the cells to come up. Just asking silicon is so messy to clean up lol. New subscriber
This is beautiful!! Is the dump paint thinner than the regular paints in order to get your cells? I’ve been painting for a few months now and still struggle with the consistency in order to get beautiful cells.

Love your art Dwight 😍😍
Share Bear Thank you!
Love love love ❤️
Very dramatic and gorgeous 🌞
Awesome!
Incredible!
What am I missing?!? Why does the black cover the other colors so well? How is it different? Thicker? Thinner?
Pretty much the same consistency...but needs to be thin!
Beautiful. Do you think the artist loft flow acrylic produces more cells?
No, I think it’s actually floetrol and thinned paints!
WOAH spectaculaire 👏 👏👏👏 👍 🤔 🙋
FABULOUS!
Stunning!
Melva Perunko thank you...I have to agree with you I’m so happy!
I love the red and white heart. Do you sell to viewers?

very cool art, what type of varnish do you use, satin, or gloss? thanks for sharing
Just a spray varnish...one coat
Wow!!!

1 part paint, 2 parts floetrol and a drizzle of liquitex pouring medium

I just use spray varnish
Hermoso!!!

Typically small cells are because the dump paint is too thick. I use the same paints all the time because they work best…artist loft soft body black or acrylic flow black if they are making that again!
Love that little roller! Is it just a regular paint roller?
yes, i had used it when i did some painting in my house a few years ago!
Dwight, what do you use to mount your paintings on your wall?
A nail…simple
@@dwightpours1261 lol ok. Thats what I use too :)
I,m not sure if I like it or not . Was expecting more
You don’t have to like it but I sold it!
I love this red piece. How much do you charge for your pieces. Wondering if it's within my means, lol.
$350 plus the cost of shipping and handling which might add over another $100
What do you varnish your paintings with when dry? And how many coats do you put on
Arlene Dyne I’ve been doing grumbacker gloss spray varnish...I usually do one good coat, maybe two
It’s absolutely beautiful, do you add silicon in your black to cause the cells to come up. Just asking silicon is so messy to clean up lol. New subscriber
ARTOBSESSIONOZ no silicone! Metallics seem to cell/pearl very nicely!

This is beautiful!! Is the dump paint thinner than the regular paints in order to get your cells? I’ve been painting for a few months now and still struggle with the consistency in order to get beautiful cells.
I’d using black, as dump paint, it has to be a hair thicker than the puddle so it will sink allowing the cells to pop up
What do you use to varnish?
Grumbacker high gloss or matte
Hello, do you put silicone in your paintings?
No I don’t use silicone !!
@@dwightpours1261 What do you put in the paint to havé the pearl cells ?
I think this will have good results for u Dwight!
You van do purple !! No problem . there is no difference. From that to purple. Just a Timmy bit of gold with it ??? Maybe.
👏🌻👍😍
